(WK-intern) – RP Global, einer der führenden polnischen Akteure im Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien, und Marguerite, ein paneuropäischer Investor und unser Mitaktionär von 49,99 %, haben den Verkauf von zwei Windparks mit insgesamt 103 MW an ENGIE Zielona Energia abgeschlossen.

Die Vereinbarung wurde am 28. Juli 2023 unterzeichnet und die Transaktion konnte nach Genehmigung durch das polnische Amt für Wettbewerbs- und Verbraucherschutz erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden.

Die Windparks befinden sich im Norden Polens in Tychowo und Kukinia. Der Windpark Tychowo besteht aus 20 Nordex N90-Turbinen und wurde 2009 gebaut. Der Windpark Kukinia verfügt über 23 Enercon E-82-Turbinen und wurde 2013 gebaut.

Beide Projekte werden seit Jahren erfolgreich betrieben und diese Transaktion untermauert den Wert, den die Entwicklungs-, Bau- und Betriebs- und Wartungsteams von RP Global schaffen. Dieser Verkauf ist Teil der sich weiterentwickelnden Strategie von RP Global zur Finanzierung neuer Projekte zum Aufbau eines zunehmend diversifizierten Anlagenportfolios für erneuerbare Energien in ganz Polen und darüber hinaus.

Mit Blick auf die Zukunft bleibt Polen einer der Kernmärkte von RP Global mit einer Pipeline von über 2.700 MW an Wind- und PV-Projekten in verschiedenen Entwicklungsstadien.

Global and Marguerite sell Polish wind projects to ENGIE

RP Global and Marguerite finalized the sale of two Polish wind farms to ENGIE Zielona Energia

RP Global, one of Poland’s leading players in the renewable energy sector, and Marguerite, a pan-European investor and our co-shareholder of 49.99% have finalized the sale of two wind farms totaling 103 MW to ENGIE Zielona Energia. The agreement was signed on 28 July 2023, and the transaction was successfully completed following approval from Poland’s Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

The wind farms are located in Northern Poland in Tychowo and Kukinia. The Tychowo wind farm consists of 20 Nordex N90 turbines and was built in 2009. The Kukinia wind farm has 23 Enercon E-82 turbines and was built in 2013.

Both projects have been successfully operating for years, and this transaction underpins the value created by RP Global’s development, construction and O&M teams. This sale is part of RP Global’s evolving strategy to finance new projects to build an increasingly diversified renewable energy asset portfolio across Poland and beyond.

Looking ahead, Poland remains one of RP Global’s core markets, with a pipeline of >2.700 MW of wind and PV projects in different stages of development.
