Nacka, Schweden – Atlas Copco hat der Übernahme der CVS Engineering GmbH zugestimmt, einem deutschen Hersteller von industriellen Vakuumpumpen und -gebläsen für den mobilen Einsatz auf Tankwagen und anderen Transportmitteln.

(WK-intern) – Die CVS Engineering GmbH (CVS Engineering) hat ihren Hauptsitz in Rheinfelden, Deutschland, und beschäftigt 76 Mitarbeiter. Im Jahr 2021 hatte das Unternehmen einen Jahresumsatz von ca. MEUR 20 (ca. MSEK 200*).

„Die Übernahme wird unser Portfolio an mobilen Vakuumlösungen erweitern und es uns ermöglichen, in diesem Markt weiter zu expandieren“, sagte Geert Follens, Präsident des Geschäftsbereichs Vakuumtechnik. „Die Übernahme von CVS Engineering wird es uns ermöglichen, unsere Präsenz in Europa zu vergrößern.“

Der Kaufpreis wird nicht bekannt gegeben.

Die CVS Engineering GmbH wird Teil der Industrial Vacuum Division innerhalb des Geschäftsbereichs Vakuumtechnik.

Die Übernahme wird voraussichtlich im ersten Quartal 2023 abgeschlossen.

Atlas Copco to acquire German manufacturer of mobile industrial vacuum and blower equipment

Nacka, Sweden – Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire CVS Engineering GmbH, a German manufacturer of industrial vacuum pumps and blowers for mobile use on tanker trucks and other types of transport.

CVS Engineering GmbH (CVS Engineering) is headquartered in Rheinfelden, Germany, and has 76 employees. In 2021, the company had an annual revenue of approx. MEUR 20 (approx. MSEK 200*).

“The acquisition will add to our mobile vacuum solutions portfolio, allowing us to expand further in this market,’’ said Geert Follens, Business Area President Vacuum Technique. “The acquisition of CVS Engineering will allow us to increase our footprint in Europe.”

The purchase price is not disclosed.

CVS Engineering GmbH will become part of the Industrial Vacuum Division within the Vacuum Technique business area.

The acquisition is expected to close during Q1 2023.
