Vestas erhält 236-MW-Auftrag in Finnland

(WK-intern) – Vestas hat von Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy, einem langjährigen Kunden aus Pori, einen Auftrag über 236 MW erhalten, um das Windprojekt Siikajoki in Nordösterbotten in Finnland mit Strom zu versorgen.

Der Auftrag umfasst 38 V162-6,2-MW-Windturbinen und umfasst die Lieferung, Installation und Inbetriebnahme der Turbinen sowie das Anti-Icing-System von Vestas, das die Eisbildung auf den Blättern während des Betriebs effizient entfernt, um die Energieproduktion zu maximieren.

Siikajoki liegt etwa 50 km südlich von Oulu in der Region Nordösterbotten. Die Lieferung und Installation der Windkraftanlagen wird voraussichtlich im zweiten Quartal 2024 beginnen, die Inbetriebnahme ist für das dritte und vierte Quartal 2024 geplant.

Vestas wins 236 MW order in Finland

Vestas has received a 236 MW order from Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy, a long-term client from Pori, to power the Siikajoki wind project in North Ostrobothnia in Finland.

The order consists of 38 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines and includes supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as Vestas’ Anti-Icing System which efficiently removes ice formation on blades during operation to maximise energy production.

Siikajoki is located about 50 km south of Oulu in North Ostrobothnia region. The delivery and installation of the wind turbines are expected to start in the second quarter of 2024 with the commissioning scheduled for the third and fourth quarter of 2024.
