São Paulo – Vestas und Engie Brasil Energia SA erweitern ihre Partnerschaft mit dem 288-MW-Auftrag über 64 V150-4,5-MW-Windkraftanlagen für den Windpark Serra de Assuruá in der Gemeinde Gentio do Ouro im Bundesstaat Bahia, Brasilien.

(WK-intern) – Wie am 30. September dieses Jahres bekannt gegeben, unterzeichneten beide Unternehmen eine Vereinbarung zur Umsetzung des größten Windprojekts in Lateinamerika, das nach vollständiger Installation über eine Gesamtnennleistung von 846 MW verfügen wird.

Vestas wird außerdem einen 25-jährigen Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) Servicevertrag liefern. Diese Vereinbarung wird die Energieerzeugung optimieren und gleichzeitig langfristige Business-Case-Sicherheit bieten.

Die Auslieferung und der kommerzielle Betrieb von Serra do Assuruá sollen voraussichtlich ab der zweiten Jahreshälfte 2024 schrittweise aufgenommen werden.

Vestas secures an additional order of 288 MW with ENGIE to complement Latin America’s largest wind project

Vestas and Engie Brasil Energia SA expand their partnership with the 288 MW order of 64 units of V150-4.5 MW wind turbines for the Serra de Assuruá wind farm, located in the municipality of Gentio do Ouro, in the state of Bahia, Brazil.

As announced on 30 September of this year, both companies signed an agreement to implement the largest wind project in Latin America that, once fully installed, will have a total nominal capacity of 846 MW.

Vestas will also deliver a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement. This agreement will optimise energy production while also providing long-term business case certainty.

The delivery and commercial operation of Serra do Assuruá is estimated to start gradually from the second half of 2024.
