Vestas hat von Statkraft Ireland einen Auftrag über 56 MW erhalten, um das Windprojekt Cushaling in Irland mit Strom zu versorgen.

(WK-intern) – Der Auftrag umfasst insgesamt neun V162-6,2 MW Windkraftanlagen mit einer Spitzenhöhe von 185 m in den Grafschaften Offaly und Kildare.

Dies ist die erste Bestellung von Vestas V162-6,2 MW in Irland mit dem größten Rotordurchmesser aller Windkraftanlagen auf der Insel.

Der Auftrag umfasst die Lieferung, Installation und Inbetriebnahme der Turbinen sowie einen 35-jährigen Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000)-Servicevertrag, der darauf ausgelegt ist, eine optimierte Leistung der Anlage sicherzustellen.

Ehrgeizige Projekte, bei denen die neueste Turbinentechnologie zum Einsatz kommt, können dazu beitragen, den Kunden erschwingliche, saubere Energie zu liefern und gleichzeitig die Abhängigkeit Irlands von importierten fossilen Brennstoffen zu verringern. Jedes zusätzliche Windenergieprojekt bedeutet eine Reduzierung der Menge an Kohle und Gas, die wir zur Stromerzeugung benötigen.“

Die Lieferung und Installation der Windkraftanlagen wird voraussichtlich im ersten Quartal 2024 erfolgen, die Inbetriebnahme ist für das zweite Quartal 2024 geplant.

Vestas wins 56 MW order in Ireland

Vestas has received a 56 MW order from Statkraft Ireland to power the Cushaling wind project in Ireland. The order includes a total of nine V162-6.2 MW wind turbines at a tip height of 185m in counties Offaly and Kildare.

This is the first order of Vestas’ V162-6.2 MW in Ireland featuring the largest rotor diameter of any wind turbine on the island. The order includes supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 35-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance of the asset.

The delivery and installation of the wind turbines are expected to occur in the first quarter of 2024 with the commissioning scheduled for the second quarter of 2024.
