Vestas erhält 74-MW-EnVentus-Auftrag in Italien

(WK-intern) – Das in Italien ansässige Ingenieur- und Bauunternehmen SIMIC hat einen 74-MW-Auftrag für die Windparks Villacidro und Musei auf Sardinien, Italien, erteilt.

Der Vertrag umfasst die Lieferung und Installation von 12 Windturbinen vom Typ V162-6,2 MW sowie einen 20-jährigen Servicevertrag für Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000).

„Mit den Windparks Villacidro und Musei erreicht SIMIC einen wichtigen Meilenstein von mehr als 100 MW installierter Solar- und Windkapazität und bestätigt sein Engagement für Energiewende und Nachhaltigkeit“, sagt Giuseppe Ginola, Gründer und Geschäftsführer von SIMIC.

Bereits 2021 platzierte SIMIC den ersten Auftrag für EnVentus-Windkraftanlagen in Italien. „Ich möchte SIMIC für das erneute Vertrauen in die neueste Technologie von Vestas danken. Dieser Auftrag zeigt das Potenzial der branchenführenden EnVentus-Plattform für den italienischen Markt. „Seine breite Palette an maßgeschneiderten Lösungen, die den Anforderungen jedes Projekts gerecht werden, und seine Fähigkeit, die jährliche Energieproduktion zu steigern, ermöglichen es unseren Kunden, ihr Geschäft zu optimieren und bei der italienischen Auktion erfolgreich zu sein“, sagt Francesco Amati, General Manager von Vestas für Italien und die Türkei.

Die Lieferung der Turbine ist für das erste Halbjahr 2024 geplant, die Inbetriebnahme für das zweite Halbjahr 2024.

Mit diesem Projekt festigt Vestas seine starke Führungsposition auf dem italienischen Markt, wo das Unternehmen seit 1991 über 2 GW an Verträgen aus Auktionen gewonnen und über 5 GW installiert hat.

Vestas wins 74 MW EnVentus order in Italy

Italy-based engineering and construction company SIMIC has placed a 74 MW order for the Villacidro and Musei wind parks, to be located in Sardinia, Italy. The contract includes the supply and installation of 12 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines, as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.

Turbine delivery is planned for the first half of 2024, whilst commissioning is expected for the second half of 2024.

With this project, Vestas consolidates its strong leadership in the Italian market, where it has won over 2 GW of contracts derived from auctions and has installed over 5 GW since 1991.
