Vestas hat mit Pampa Energia einen Vertrag über das 81-MW-Projekt De la Bahia II in der Nähe der Stadt Bahia Blanca in der argentinischen Provinz Buenos Aires unterzeichnet.

(WK-intern) – Mit dieser Erweiterung des seit 2019 in Betrieb befindlichen Windparks De la Bahia wird die kombinierte Leistung des Windparks insgesamt 187 MW erreichen.

Der Auftrag umfasst 18 V150-4,5-MW-Turbinen sowie einen 20-jährigen Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) Servicevertrag, der die Energieerzeugung während der gesamten Projektlaufzeit optimiert.

Die Lieferung der Windenergieanlagen ist für das dritte Quartal 2022 geplant, die Inbetriebnahme für das zweite Quartal 2023.

Vestas und Pampa Energía S.A. haben neben dem Cluster De la Bahia zuvor den 100-MW-Windpark Mario Cebreiro in derselben Region entwickelt und seit 2018 in Betrieb.

Mit diesem neuen Auftrag festigt Vestas seine führende Position in Argentinien mit einem Marktanteil von mehr als 50 Prozent der in Betrieb befindlichen 1,5-GW-Flotte.

Vestas secures 81 MW order with Pampa Energía in Argentina

Vestas has signed an agreement with Pampa Energia for the 81 MW De la Bahia II project, close to Bahia Blanca city in the Province of Buenos Aires in Argentina.

With this extension of the De la Bahia wind park that has been in operation since 2019, the wind complex’ combined capacity will reach a total of 187 MW.

The order includes 18 V150-4.5 MW turbines as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service contract, optimising the energy production for the lifetime of the project.

The delivery of wind turbines is planned for the third quarter of 2022, with commissioning scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.

Vestas and Pampa Energía S.A., besides the De la Bahia cluster, have previously developed the 100 MW Mario Cebreiro wind park in the same region and in operation since 2018.

With this new order, Vestas consolidates its leading position in Argentina with a market share of more than 50 percent of the 1.5 GW fleet in operation.
