Members include power project developers, turbine manufacturers, technical consultants, financial institutions, regional associations and other institutions in the wind energy sector. Gunnar Herzig, Managing Director, WFO: “We are delighted to welcome Asia-Pacific’s most important wind energy association as a new member of WFO. This strongly supports WFO’s position as a truly global offshore wind organisation. Together, AsiaWEA and WFO are able to encourage governments in Asia-Pacific to introduce offshore wind energy as a major source of their energy supply.” Edgare Kerkwijk, Founder and Board Member, AsiaWEA: “Bundling forces is a key success factor for a focussed approach to accelerate offshore wind growth in Asia.
