Correll Group erhält Export-Kabelzugauftrag von Asso.subsea Limited

(WK-intern) – Die Correll Group – Cable Installation & Power Services Division freut sich bekannt zu geben, dass es ihr gelungen ist, einen Vertrag mit dem Offshore-Installationsunternehmen Asso.subsea für den Einzugsbetrieb von AC Submarine Cables sowohl auf dem Offshore-Umspannwerk Gode Wind 3 OWP als auch auf dem Offshore-Umspannwerk zu sichern HGÜ-Offshore-Umspannwerk DolWin kappa als Teil des AC-Netzanbindungssystems im Auftrag des Endkunden TenneT.

TenneT ist als Übertragungsnetzbetreiber für die Netzanbindung von Gode Wind 3 (242 MW) verantwortlich und stellt die Netzanbindung als HGÜ-Leitung bereit.

Der Wechselstromanschluss ist für die Verbindung vom Windpark zur Konverterplattform auf See erforderlich. Der EPIC-Hauptauftrag wurde an Zhongtian Technology Submarine Cable Co. vergeben. Gode Wind 3 liegt in der deutschen Nordsee, etwa 32 km nordwestlich der Insel Norderney innerhalb von Cluster 3 und der ausschließlichen Wirtschaftszone (AWZ) des Landes. Der Offshore-Windpark wird voraussichtlich im Jahr 2024 vollständig in Betrieb genommen und im Vollbetrieb rund 250.000 deutsche Haushalte mit sauberer, grüner Energie versorgen.

„Dieser Auftrag ergänzt frühere Aufträge von ZTT Cables, wo Correll mit der Plattformkabelverlegung, Terminierung und Prüfung von 155-kV-Unterseekabeln im Zusammenhang mit den AC-Netzverbindungssystemen in den Offshore-Windparks Kaskasi II und Gode Wind 3 beauftragt wurde.“

Correll Group awarded export cable pull in contract by Asso.subsea Limited

The Correll Group – Cable Installation & Power Services Division is delighted to announce that it has been successful in securing a contract with the offshore installation company Asso.subsea for the AC Submarine Cables pull in operations on both the Gode Wind 3 OWP Offshore Substation and the HVDC Offshore Substation DolWin kappa as part of the AC grid connection system on behalf of the end client TenneT.

TenneT is the transmission system operator responsible for the grid connection for Gode Wind 3 (242 MW) and provides the grid connection as an HVDC line. The AC connection is required for the connection from the wind farm to the converter platform at sea. The EPIC main contract was awarded to Zhongtian Technology Submarine Cable Co.Gode Wind 3 is located in the German North Sea, approximately 32km north-west of the island of Norderney within cluster 3 and the country’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ). The offshore wind farm is expected to be fully commissioned in 2024 and when fully operational will serve around 250,000 German households with clean, green energy.
