Turbine technology is rapidly moving into unexplored terrain in terms of size, offshore innovation, data integration and climate adaptation.

This brings opportunities, but with new horizons come new challenges.

Offshore wind turbines will soon exceed 10 MW, and turbine sizes of 14 MW (and potentially larger) could be a very real possibility, significantly expanding the scope of energy generation. But with markets evolving and prices falling, we need new turbine architectures, advanced materials and production processes at lowest possible costs in order to keep up with market demand.

In terms of technological innovation, floating offshore wind is perhaps the most exciting development in wind energy today – the industry is ready to unlock untapped deep-water areas for wind power generation.
