Die Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe und die SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH & Cie. KG haben einen Rahmenvertrag zur Erbringung von Dienstleistungen für Offshore-Windprojekte geschlossen.

(WK-intern) – Die Zusammenarbeit ist am 1. Januar dieses Jahres in Kraft getreten und umfasst die Bereitstellung eines umfassenden Rettungskonzeptes inklusive der Bereitstellung von Offshore-Sanitätern der Johanniter-Offshore-Rettungsabteilung im Ortsverband Stedingen im Kreisverband Weser-Ems an SeaRenergy für Offshore-Wind Industrieprojekte in der Nord- und Ostsee.

SeaRenergy bietet eine breite Palette an Beratungs- und Ingenieurdienstleistungen sowie Offshore-Marine-, QHSE- und Personalrekrutierungsdienstleistungen für alle Beteiligten der Offshore-Windindustrie.

„Mit den Offshore-Sanitätern der Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe steht uns nun gut ausgebildetes und erfahrenes Personal für den Einsatz in Offshore-Projekten zur Verfügung, das über die allgemeinen gesetzlichen Anforderungen hinaus die medizinische Notfallversorgung und medizinische Grundversorgung für Arbeitnehmer in der Offshore-Windindustrie gewährleistet“, sagt Natalia Kress, Geschäftsführer der SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH & Cie. KG. „Damit können wir über die allgemeinen gesetzlichen Anforderungen hinausgehen und unserer Verpflichtung zum Schutz der Gesundheit und des Lebens aller Mitarbeiter vor Ort nachkommen.“

Die Offshore-Rettungsabteilung der Johanniter erbringt seit zehn Jahren umfassende medizinische Dienstleistungen für die Offshore-Windindustrie. Das Unternehmen stellt medizinische Fachkräfte für Plattformen, Installations- und Serviceschiffe in der Nord- und Ostsee, besetzt die Offshore-Windpark-Notrufzentrale (NOW) der Gesellschaft für Maritimes Notfallmanagement (GMN) und stellt medizinisches Notfallpersonal für die Offshore-Windparks Offshore-Rettungshubschrauber seines Partners NHC Northern Helicopter. Auch die Bereitstellung medizinischer Materialien, die Entwicklung von Konzepten, die telemedizinische Unterstützung sowie Aus- und Weiterbildung gehören zu ihrem Portfolio.

„Wir freuen uns über die Zusammenarbeit mit SeaRenergy und die Möglichkeit, unsere Kompetenzen zu bündeln“, sagt Jan Lutz, Leiter der Abteilung Offshore-Rettung der Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe. Die Idee zur Zusammenarbeit entstand aus zahlreichen gemeinsamen Projekten, wie beispielsweise der Zusammenarbeit während der Installationsphase von DolWin gamma. „Seit dem Einstieg der Johanniter in das Offshore-Rettungsgeschäft im Jahr 2013 haben wir uns aufgrund der sich ständig ändernden Bedingungen und Herausforderungen zum Marktführer in der Vor-Ort-Betreuung entwickelt. Mit dieser Expertise und langjährigen Erfahrung werden wir SeaRenergy nun tatkräftig in medizinisch relevanten Belangen unterstützen.“

Alle Offshore-Sanitäter sind in ärztlich genehmigten Standardarbeitsanweisungen (SOPs) für alle akuten und notfallmedizinischen Situationen geschult. Dazu gehört die Verabreichung von Medikamenten im Rahmen ihrer ärztlichen Qualifikation oder durch direkte Delegation per Telemedizin. Durch ihre Ausrüstung und Ausbildung als Höhenretter sind sie in der Lage, an allen Offshore-Windenergieanlagen eine richtlinienkonforme medizinische Versorgung auf dem Niveau der Onshore-Notfallversorgung zu leisten.

Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe and SeaRenergy collaborate on offshore wind projects

Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe and SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH & Cie. KG have entered into a framework agreement for the provision of services for offshore wind projects. The collaboration came into force on January 1st of this year and covers the provision of a comprehensive rescue concept, including the provision of offshore paramedics from Johanniter’s offshore rescue department in the Stedingen local branch within the Weser-Ems regional association, to SeaRenergy for offshore wind industry projects in the North and Baltic Sea.

SeaRenergy offers a wide range of consulting and engineering services, as well as offshore marine, QHSE, and personnel recruitment services for all stakeholders in the offshore wind industry. “With the offshore paramedics from Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe, we now have highly trained and experienced personnel available for deployment in offshore projects, ensuring emergency medical care and primary healthcare for workers in the offshore wind industry beyond the general legal requirements,” says Natalia Kress, General Manager of SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH & Cie. KG. “This allows us to go beyond the general legal requirements and fulfill our commitment to protecting the health and lives of all employees on-site.”

Johanniter’s offshore rescue department has been providing comprehensive medical services to the offshore wind industry for ten years. The company provides medical professionals for platforms, installation, and service vessels in the North and Baltic Sea, staffs the offshore wind park emergency control center (NOW) of the “Gesellschaft für Maritimes Notfallmanagement” (GMN), and provides emergency medical personnel for the offshore rescue helicopters of its partner NHC Northern Helicopter. The provision of medical materials, development of concepts, telemedicine support, as well as training and further education are also part of their portfolio.

The idea for the collaboration emerged from numerous joint projects, such as the cooperation during the installation phase of DolWin gamma. “Since Johanniter entered the offshore rescue business in 2013, we have evolved to become the market leader in on-site care due to the constantly changing conditions as well as challenges. With this expertise and many years of experience, we will now actively support SeaRenergy in medical-relevant matters.”

All offshore paramedics are trained in physician-approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all acute and emergency medical situations. This includes the administration of medication within the scope of their medical qualifications or through direct delegation by telemedicine. Their equipment and training as rescuers from height enable them to provide guideline-compliant medical care, equivalent in quality to onshore emergency services, at all offshore wind industry structures.
