Voranschreiten in Indien: Siemens Gamesa erhält dritten Großauftrag für seine 3.X-Plattform mit NIIF-gestütztem Ayana Renewable Power

(WK-intern) – Siemens Gamesa hat einen neuen Auftrag in Indien von Ayana Renewable Power Six Private Limited zur Lieferung eines 302 MW-Projekts erhalten, der dem Windenergieantrieb des Landes einen weiteren Schub verleiht.

Für das Projekt im Distrikt Gadag im Bundesstaat Karnataka werden insgesamt 84 Einheiten der SG 3.6-145 Windturbinen installiert.

Ayana ging 2019 erstmals eine Partnerschaft mit Siemens Gamesa für einen 300-MW-Solarpark im Bundesstaat Rajasthan ein und verfügt derzeit über 3 GW an erneuerbarer Energiekapazität in verschiedenen Entwicklungs- und Betriebsstadien in mehreren indischen Bundesstaaten. Ayana hat dieses Projekt in der SECI ISTS Tranche X Ausschreibung gewonnen und wird die erforderliche Infrastruktur für diesen im Bundesstaat Karnataka geplanten Windpark entwickeln.

Siemens Gamesa hat diese neue Turbine 2020 trotz anhaltender Pandemie auf den Markt gebracht und im Juli 2021 erste Bestellungen über 623 MW bekannt gegeben. Mit diesem zusätzlichen 302 MW-Deal beträgt der Gesamtauftragseingang für die Siemens Gamesa 3.X-Plattform in Indien 925 MW, was das Vertrauen der Kunden in unsere Technologie zeigt. Die Turbinen für dieses Projekt werden von den Produktionsstätten in Indien geliefert und das Projekt soll 2023 in Betrieb genommen werden.

Die Windturbine SG 3.6-145 ist eine Erweiterung der SG 3.4-145, die auf der ursprünglichen SG 3.4-132 basiert und weltweit mehrere GW installiert hat. Durch die optimierte Steuerung und ein verbessertes Lastmanagement unter spezifischen Standortbedingungen erreicht die Turbine eine Nennleistung von 3,6 MW. Mit einem um 41% vergrößerten Rotorüberstreichungsbereich, der 48% mehr AEP liefert als der vorherige SG 2.2-122, ist er eine der effizientesten und kostengünstigsten Lösungen auf dem Markt.

Siemens Gamesa ist seit 2009 in Indien tätig und die vom Unternehmen installierte Basis hat kürzlich die 7-GW-Marke überschritten. Das Unternehmen verfügt über eine Klingenfabrik in Nellore (Andhra Pradesh), eine Gondelfabrik in Mamandur (Chennai, Tamil Nadu) und ein Betriebs- und Wartungszentrum in den Red Hills (Chennai, Tamil Nadu).

Powering ahead in India: Siemens Gamesa clocks third major order for its 3.X platform with NIIF backed Ayana Renewable Power

Siemens Gamesa has secured a new order in India from Ayana Renewable Power Six Private Limited to supply a 302MW project, providing another boost to the country’s wind energy drive. A total of 84 units of the SG 3.6-145 wind turbines will be installed for the project in the Gadag district, Karnataka State.

Ayana first partnered with Siemens Gamesa in 2019 for a 300 MW solar farm in the state of Rajasthan and currently has 3 GW of renewable energy capacity under various stages of development and operation across several Indian states. Ayana won this project in the SECI ISTS Tranche X tender and will develop the required infrastructure for this windfarm, planned in the State of Karnataka.

Siemens Gamesa launched this new turbine in 2020 despite an ongoing pandemic and announced its first orders in July 2021 for 623MW. With this additional 302MW deal, the total order intake for the Siemens Gamesa 3.X platform in India stands at 925MW demonstrating the customers trust in our technology. Turbines for this project will be supplied from the manufacturing plants in India and the project is expected to be commissioned in 2023.

The SG 3.6-145 wind turbine is an extension of the SG 3.4-145 which is based on the original SG 3.4-132, with several GWs installed worldwide. The turbine achieves a nominal power output of 3.6 MW thanks to the optimized control system and an improved management of loads under specific site conditions. With an increased rotor swept area of 41%, which delivers 48% more AEP than the previous SG 2.2-122, it is one of the most efficient and cost-effective solutions in the market.

Siemens Gamesa has operated in India since 2009, and the base installed by the company recently surpassed the 7GW mark. The company has one blade factory in Nellore (Andhra Pradesh), a nacelle factory in Mamandur (Chennai, Tamil Nadu), and an operations & maintenance centre in the Red Hills (Chennai, Tamil Nadu).
