Lhyfe sammelt 2,5 Millionen Euro durch Anleihen in der ersten erfolgreichen Crowdfunding-Kampagne für die Produktion von grünem Wasserstoff.

(WK-intern) – Erstmals in Europa haben sich Bürger zusammengeschlossen, um die Produktion von grünem und erneuerbarem Wasserstoff direkt zu finanzieren.

Sie investieren Beträge zwischen 300 und 75.000 Euro und setzen damit ein starkes Zeichen für das Vertrauen der Öffentlichkeit in die Branche.

Die Initiative von Lhyfe ermöglicht es der Öffentlichkeit, die Dekarbonisierung von Mobilität und Industrie zu finanzieren und als Anleihezeichner eine Rendite zu erzielen. Gleichzeitig trägt Lhyfe zur Energiesouveränität lokaler Regionen und ihrer Reindustrialisierung bei.

Nantes (Frankreich) – Lhyfe (EURONEXT: LHYFE), einer der weltweiten Pioniere in der Produktion von grünem und erneuerbarem Wasserstoff für die Dekarbonisierung von Mobilität und Industrie, hat den erfolgreichen Abschluss seiner ersten Crowdfunding-Kampagne auf der Plattform Lita.co bekannt gegeben.

Bürger unterstützen Lhyfe und die Entwicklung von grünem Wasserstoff

Die im Mai gestartete Kampagne ermöglichte es der Öffentlichkeit, in vier Lhyfe-Standorte in Frankreich und Deutschland zu investieren. Dies war eine Premiere für Lhyfe, aber auch für die Branche des erneuerbaren grünen Wasserstoffs. Sie reagierte auf die wachsende Beliebtheit dieses zugänglichen Formats für Investitionen und Maßnahmen in der breiten Öffentlichkeit. Ziel der Initiative war es, gemeinsame Anstrengungen im Rahmen der Energiewende zu fördern.

Fast 1.200 Personen beteiligten sich an der Spendenkampagne und investierten Beträge zwischen 300 und 75.000 Euro, insgesamt also 2,5 Millionen Euro. Der durchschnittliche Betrag, der in Lita-Fundraising-Kampagnen gesammelt wird, liegt typischerweise bei rund 0,5 Millionen Euro, mit durchschnittlich rund 320 Investoren – diese Zahlen wurden von Lhyfe übertroffen, was den Erfolg dieser Crowdfunding-Operation widerspiegelt.

Anleihegläubiger erhalten als Gegenleistung für ihr Engagement eine feste Zinszahlung.

Solide Unterstützung für Lhyfes Wachstum, die Ausrichtung auf ein grünes Industriemodell und umfassendere Ziele

Die Expansion von Lhyfe (Anzahl und Größe der Standorte, deren Kapazität von 1 über 5 auf 10 MW gestiegen ist, und ein 100-MW-Standort ist in Kürze geplant) ist Teil eines ehrgeizigen Plans, der vom Ziel der Europäischen Union getragen wird, bis 2030 eine Produktionskapazität von 40 GW für grünen Wasserstoff zu erreichen. Die in Betrieb befindlichen und im Bau befindlichen Standorte stellen konkrete Dekarbonisierungsquellen für die Umwelt und zukünftige Einnahmen für das Unternehmen dar. Lhyfe verfügt heute über vier Onshore-Standorte in Frankreich und Deutschland mit einer Produktionskapazität von bis zu 9 Tonnen grünem und erneuerbarem Wasserstoff pro Tag (d. h. über 20 MW installierter Elektrolyseleistung). Der Umsatz vervierfachte sich 2024 im Vergleich zu 2023 und erreichte 5,1 Millionen Euro.

Um den Projekthochlauf zu unterstützen, setzt Lhyfe auf eine geeignete Finanzierungsstrategie, die Eigenkapital, Zuschüsse und Bankfinanzierung kombiniert. Darüber hinaus stärkt das Unternehmen seine Finanzkraft und diversifiziert seine Finanzierungsquellen. Seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 2017 hat Lhyfe fast 184 Millionen Euro Eigenkapital eingesammelt, wobei es sowohl auf seine langjährigen Aktionäre als auch auf renommierte internationale Partner wie Mitsui und EDPR zurückgreifen und mit seinem Börsengang an die Börse gehen konnte. Gleichzeitig sicherte sich Lhyfe Fördermittel in Höhe von rund 240 Millionen Euro für die Entwicklung und den Bau seiner Portfolioprojekte. Dazu gehört auch der Zuschuss von 149 Millionen Euro für Green Horizon, sein 100-MW-Vorzeigeprojekt in der Nähe von Le Havre. Schließlich sicherte sich Lhyfe Ende 2023 eine Unternehmensbankfinanzierung in Höhe von 25 Millionen Euro und unterzeichnete im April 2025 eine Projektfinanzierungsvereinbarung über 53 Millionen Euro mit Finanzpartnern.

Diese Finanzierung stärkt Lhyfes Fähigkeit, seine Kernaufgabe – die Dekarbonisierung von Industrie und Mobilität durch die Produktion von grünem und erneuerbarem Wasserstoff – zu verfolgen, um künftigen Generationen eine nachhaltigere Zukunft zu bieten und gleichzeitig umfassendere Ziele zu erreichen:

• Stärkung der Energiesouveränität und Reindustrialisierung der Regionen durch regional verteilte Standorte, um den Bedarf der einzelnen Regionen bestmöglich zu decken.
• Beitrag zur Entwicklung eines grüneren und verantwortungsvolleren Industriemodells durch das Streben nach Vorbildwirkung in Sachen CSR: 2024 erhielt Lhyfe die höchste Stufe der EthiFinance-Zertifizierung für seine herausragenden Leistungen in den Bereichen Umwelt, Soziales, Governance und Stakeholder.
• Im Dienste der Umwelt: Parallel zu seinen Projekten zur Produktion von grünem Wasserstoff auf See erforscht Lhyfe die Möglichkeit, die Ozeane wieder mit Sauerstoff anzureichern.
• Beitrag zur Entwicklung eines verantwortungsvolleren Gesellschaftsmodells, in dem Industrie und Bürger gemeinsam handeln.

Lhyfe raises €2.5m through bonds in the first successful crowdfunding campaign for the green hydrogen production sector

For the first time in Europe, members of the public have come together to directly finance the production of green and renewable hydrogen, investing sums ranging from €300 to €75,000 and providing a strong signal of the public’s confidence in the sector.
Lhyfe’s initiative allows the general public to finance the decarbonisation of mobility and industry and earn a return as bond subscribers, while contributing to the energy sovereignty of local areas and their re-industrialisation.

Nantes (France) – Lhyfe (EURONEXT: LHYFE), one of the world’s pioneers in the production of green and renewable hydrogen for the decarbonisation of mobility and industry, has announced the successful completion of its first crowdfunding campaign on the Lita.co platform.

Citizens show their support for Lhyfe and the development of green hydrogen

The campaign, launched in May, made it possible for the general public to invest in four of Lhyfe’s sites in France and Germany. This was a first for Lhyfe, but also for the renewable green hydrogen sector, responding to the growing popularity among the general public of this accessible format for investing and taking action. The initiative aimed at promoting a collective effort with respect to the energy transition.

Nearly 1,200 people took part in the fundraising campaign, investing amounts ranging from €300 to €75,000, for a total of €2.5 million. The average amount raised in Lita fundraising campaigns is typically around 0.5€m, with an average of around 320 investors – these indicators were exceeded by Lhyfe, reflecting the success of this crowdfunding operation.

Bondholders will receive a fixed interest payment in exchange for their commitment.

Solid support for Lhyfe’s growth and its pursuit of a green industry model, and broader objectives

Lhyfe’s expansion (in number and size of sites, whose capacity has gone from 1 to 5 to 10 MW, with a 100 MW site coming soon) is part of an ambitious roadmap driven by the European Union’s target of 40 GW of green hydrogen production capacity by 2030. Its sites in operation and under construction represent concrete sources of decarbonisation for the environment and future revenue for the company. Today, Lhyfe has four onshore sites in France and Germany, with a production capacity of up to 9 tonnes of green and renewable hydrogen per day (i.e. over 20 MW of installed electrolysis capacity). Its sales quadrupled in 2024 compared with 2023, reaching €5.1 million.

To support the ramp-up of its projects, Lhyfe is deploying an appropriate financing strategy combining equity, grants and bank financing. It is also strengthening its financial resources and diversifying its sources of funding. Since its creation in 2017, Lhyfe has raised nearly €184m in equity capital, drawing on both its historical shareholders and renowned international partners such as Mitsui and EDPR, as well as going to the market with its IPO. At the same time, Lhyfe has secured around €240 million in grants to support the development and construction of the projects in its portfolio. These include the €149 million grant awarded to Green Horizon, its flagship 100 MW project near Le Havre. Lastly, Lhyfe raised €25m in corporate bank financing at the end of 2023 and signed a €53m project financing agreement with financial partners in April 2025.

This funding strengthens Lhyfe’s ability to pursue its core mission of decarbonising industry and mobility through the production of green and renewable hydrogen to offer a more breathable future to generations to come, while also meeting wider objectives:

– Enhancing the energy sovereignty and re-industrialisation of regions, with sites located locally throughout the country to meet the needs of each region as closely as possible
