Fugro liefert Standortcharakterisierungsuntersuchungen für den Offshore-Windpark von RWE, Mitsui & Co. und Osaka Gas in Japan

(WK-intern) – Fugro hat einen Standortcharakterisierungsauftrag für die Entwicklung eines Windparks vor der Küste der japanischen Städte Murakami und Tainai in der Präfektur Niigate in Japan erhalten.

Der Offshore-Windpark vor der Westküste des Landes wird von einem Konsortium aus RWE, Mitsui & Co. und Osaka Gas entwickelt und realisiert.

Die Geodaten von Fugro werden zur detaillierten Planung zukünftiger Turbinenfundamente und Kabelrouten beitragen.

Die Feldarbeiten begannen im Mai 2024 und werden von der Hubinsel Amberjack von Fugro und zwei von Fugros Schiffen, der Equator und der Mariner, aus durchgeführt. Alle sind mit geophysikalischen, geotechnischen und Positionierungssystemen von Fugro ausgestattet, die Geodaten erfassen, um die detaillierte Planung von Turbinenfundamenten und Kabelrouten zu ermöglichen.

Fugro to deliver site characterisation surveys for RWE, Mitsui & Co., and Osaka Gas’s offshore wind farm in Japan

Fugro has been awarded a site characterisation contract for a wind farm development off the coast of the Japanese cities of Murakami and Tainai, Niigate Prefecture, Japan.

The offshore wind farm off the country’s west coast will be developed and realised by a consortium of RWE, Mitsui & Co. and Osaka Gas. Fugro’s Geo-data will contribute to the detailed design of future turbine foundations and cable routes.

The fieldwork started in May 2024 and is being performed from Fugro jack-up platform, the Amberjack and two of Fugro’s vessels the Equator and the Mariner. All are equipped with Fugro-owned geophysical, geotechnical and positioning systems, which will acquire Geo-data to enable the detailed design of turbine foundations and cable routes.
