Ltd („Trina Solar“ oder „das Unternehmen“), ein weltweit führender Anbieter von intelligenten PV- und Energiespeicherlösungen, hat seinen Jahresbericht 2023 veröffentlicht, der einen Umsatz von 16,09 Milliarden US-Dollar bestätigt, was einer Steigerung von 27 % gegenüber 2022 entspricht.

Modul Die Lieferungen für das Jahr beliefen sich auf insgesamt 65,21 GW, das sind 51 % mehr als im Jahr 2022.

Mittlerweile hatte der Geschäftsbereich TrinaTracker mehr als 20 GW an Solarmontagesystemen geliefert und der Geschäftsbereich Trina Storage hatte bis Ende 2023 5 GWh an DC-Container- und Energiespeichersystemen installiert. Diese Zahlen sind ein Beweis für das kontinuierliche Wachstum von Trina Solar als integriertes Unternehmen Anbieter intelligenter Solar- und Speicherlösungen.

Das Unternehmen hat außerdem aktualisierte Modulauslieferungszahlen bekannt gegeben, wobei die kumulierten Gesamtauslieferungen bis zum Ende des ersten Quartals 2024 bisher 205 GW übersteigen werden. Die 210-mm-Module von Trina Solar machten insgesamt 120 GW dieser Zahl aus, womit das Unternehmen seinen Status an der Spitze der globalen Rangliste behauptet und bekräftigt damit seine führende Rolle in der Branche.

Modulinnovation

Dank des kontinuierlichen Fokus des Unternehmens auf Innovation bietet das Vertex N 700W+-Modul von Trina Solar, basierend auf 210-mm-Technologie und n-Typ-i-TOPCon-Zellen, eine Leistungsabgabe von bis zu 720,53 W in Serienfertigung, die höchste unter den massenproduzierten TOPCon-Modulen . Im Labor erreichte das Unternehmen in den letzten Tagen eine maximale Ausgangsleistung von 740,6 W und stellte damit zum 26. Mal einen Weltrekord für die Effizienz der Zell-/Modulumwandlung bzw. Ausgangsleistung auf.

Die Produktionskapazität von Trina Solar betrug Ende 2023 55 GW für Siliziumwafer, 75 GW für Zellen und 95 GW für Module. Um der steigenden Nachfrage gerecht zu werden, baut das Unternehmen eine neue integrierte N-Typ-Produktionsanlage und strebt bis Ende 2024 eine Produktionskapazität von monokristallinen Wafern, hocheffizienten Zellen und Modulen von 60 GW, 105 GW bzw. 120 GW an.

TrinaTracker

Bis Ende 2023 hatte TrinaTracker – eine Geschäftseinheit von Trina Solar – erfolgreich über 20 GW an Solarmontagesystemen in mehr als 60 Länder geliefert. Die jährliche globale Tracker-Produktionskapazität des Unternehmens beträgt mittlerweile mehr als 10 GW. TrinaTracker konzentriert sich weiterhin auf Innovation und stellt im Februar 2024 den verbesserten einachsigen Tracker Vanguard 1P vor, der der ideale Begleiter für Vertex N 720W-Module ist und niedrigere Stromgestehungskosten und höhere IRR bietet.

Trina-Speicher

Bis Ende 2023 hatte Trina Storage – ein weiterer Geschäftsbereich von Trina Solar – Lieferungen von DC-Containern und Energiespeichersystemen im Wert von 5 GWh für Projekte in allen Regionen der Welt abgeschlossen. Im Februar dieses Jahres brachte das Unternehmen Elementa 2 auf den Markt, sein flüssigkeitsgekühltes Energiespeichersystem der nächsten Generation. Elementa 2 bietet vollständige vertikale Integration und nutzt hauseigene Batteriezellen mit modernsten Sicherheitsfunktionen, Leistung und Haltbarkeit.

Trina Solar announces 27% year-on-year increase in revenues in 2023 annual report

Revenues were $16.09 billion for 2023, while module shipments totalled 65.21GW – up 51% from 2022

Trina Solar Co. Ltd (“Trina Solar” or ‘the company”), a global leader in smart PV and energy storage solutions, has released its 2023 annual report, confirming revenues of $16.09 billion and representing a 27% increase on 2022. Module shipments for the year totalled 65.21GW, which is 51% higher than in 2022.

Meanwhile, the TrinaTracker business unit had delivered more than 20GW of solar mounting systems, and the Trina Storage business unit had installed 5GWh of DC container and energy storage systems by the end of 2023. These figures are testament to Trina Solar’s continued growth as an integrated provider of smart solar and storage solutions.

The company has also announced updated module shipment figures, with total cumulative shipments to date exceeding 205GW by the end of the first quarter of 2024. Trina Solar’s 210mm modules totalled 120GW of this figure, maintaining the company’s status at the top of the global rankings and affirming its role as a leader in the industry.

Module innovation

Thanks to the company’s continued focus on innovation, Trina Solar’s Vertex N 700W+ module, based on 210mm technology and n-type i-TOPCon cells, offers a power output of up to 720.53W in serial manufacturing, the highest among mass-produced TOPCon modules. In the laboratory, the company has achieved a maximum power output of 740.6W in recent days, setting a world record for cell/module conversion efficiency or output power for the 26th time.

Trina Solar’s production capacity at the end of 2023 was 55GW for silicon wafers, 75GW for cells, and 95GW for modules. To meet burgeoning demand, the company is building a new integrated n-type production facility, and is targeting production capacity of monocrystalline wafers, high-efficiency cells and modules of 60GW, 105GW and 120GW respectively by the end of 2024.

TrinaTracker

By the end of 2023, TrinaTracker – a business unit of Trina Solar – had successfully delivered over 20GW of solar mounting systems in more than 60 countries. The company’s annual global tracker production capacity now stands at more than 10GW. TrinaTracker is continuing to focus on innovation, unveiling the upgraded Vanguard 1P single-axis tracker in February 2024, which is the ideal companion for Vertex N 720W modules, offering lower LCOE and higher IRR.

Trina Storage

By the end of 2023, Trina Storage – another business unit of Trina Solar – had completed 5GWh of shipments of DC container and energy storage systems for projects across all global regions. In February this year, the company launched Elementa 2, its next-generation liquid-cooled energy storage system. Elementa 2 delivers full vertical integration, using in-house battery cells featuring state-of-the-art safety capabilities, performance and durability.
