Bonn – Als Europas größte und internationalste Fachmesse für Batterien und Energiespeichersysteme ist die ees Europe die Pflichtveranstaltung der Branche.

(WK-intern) – Vom 19. bis 21. Juni soll die Messe ihren Auftakt machen, die International Battery and Energy Storage Alliance (IBESA) ist erneut Mitveranstalter des ees-Forums.

Deutschland steht an der Spitze des europäischen Marktes für Batterie-Energiespeichersysteme (BESS) für Privathaushalte und zählt zu den größten weltweit.

Laut Marktdaten von EUPD Research haben sich Anzahl, Kapazität und Leistung dieser Systeme in den letzten zwei Jahren bemerkenswert verdreifacht. Bis Ende 2023 waren in Deutschland etwa 11,3 GWh BESS installiert, wovon 63 %, 23 % bzw. 14 % auf die Segmente Wohnen, Gewerbe und Industrie & Versorgung entfielen. Dies bedeutet, dass Deutschland bei seiner kumulierten installierten BESS-Kapazität im Jahresvergleich eine Speicherwachstumsrate von 98 % verzeichnete. Diese aufstrebende Branche sowie das 10-jährige Jubiläum der ees Europe sind überzeugende Gründe für den Besuch der Fachmesse, die parallel zur Intersolar Europe, Power2Drive Europe und EM-Power Europe stattfindet. Da allein die ees Europe über 700 Aussteller erwartet und The smarter E insgesamt 2.800 Aussteller und 115.000 Besucher erwartet, ist das Ausmaß der Möglichkeiten immens.
