Karlsruhe/Borkum/Helgoland. Die EnBW hat gestern Abend alle 71 Windkraftanlagen ihres Offshore-Windparks „EnBW Hohe See“ in der deutschen Nordsee errichtet.

(WK-intern) – Als nächstes machen sich die Installationsschiffe „Blue Tern“ und „Brave Tern“ auf den Weg in den benachbarten Windpark „Albatros“ um 16 weitere Anlagen fertig zu stellen.

Gleichzeitig geht die Inbetriebnahme der Windkraftanlagen von „Hohe See“ weiter voran. Bereits 27 Anlangen sind in Betrieb und speisen Strom ins Netz.

„EnBW Hohe See“ und „Albatros“ sind das größte Offshore-Projekt mit 609 Megawatt Gesamtleistung, das derzeit in Deutschland realisiert wird.

Beide Windparks sollen noch 2019 in Betrieb gehen. Hierfür arbeiten zu Hochzeiten mehr als 600 Mitarbeiter auf der Großbaustelle mitten im Meer. An dem Bau sind rund 50 Schiffe beteiligt. Das Großprojekt ist eine logistische Herausforderung, die von der Offshore-Niederlassung der EnBW in Hamburg aus koordiniert wird. Das kanadische Energieinfrastruktur-Unternehmen Enbridge Inc. hat 49,9 Prozent an beiden Windparks übernommen. Die EnBW behält jeweils die restlichen 50,1 Prozent.

Construction of “EnBW Hohe See” offshore wind farm completed

Karlsruhe/Borkum/Helgoland. EnBW has installed all 71 wind turbines of its offshore wind farm “Hohe See” in the German North Sea.

Now the installation vessels „Blue Tern“ and „Brave Tern“ are on their way to the adjacent wind farm “Albatros” to complete 16 more wind turbines.

At the same time, the commissioning of the “Hohe See” wind turbines continues. 27 turbines have already been put into operation and feed electricity into the grid.

“EnBW Hohe See” and “Albatros” represent together the largest offshore wind project with 609 Megawatt currently being realised in Germany. Both wind farms will be put into operation in 2019. To this end, over 600 employees are working at this large construction site in the middle of the sea. Around 50 ships are involved in the construction work. This major project is a logistical challenge and is being coordinated by the EnBW offshore subsidiary in Hamburg. The Canadian energy infrastructure company Enbridge Inc. has acquired 49.9 percent of the shares in both wind farms. EnBW has retained the remaining 50.1 percent in both cases.
