Die Offshore-Windindustrie wächst im asiatisch-pazifischen Raum weiter, und um die Schlüsselrolle von Vestas beim Ausbau der Offshore-Windenergie in der Region zu unterstreichen, ist Vestas stolz darauf, die Unterzeichnung eines bevorzugten Lieferantenvertrags mit der Korea South-East Power Company (KOEN) für die 600-MW-Offshore-Windprojekt Wando Geumil in Wando-Gun, Provinz Süd-Jeolla, Südkorea.

(WK-intern) – Wenn das Projekt zustande kommt, wird Vestas 40 Einheiten der Turbine V236-15,0 MW liefern und installieren.

Vestas wird außerdem 20 Jahre Betriebs- und Wartungsservice für den Windpark erbringen, wenn er in Betrieb ist.

Die Auslieferung der Turbinen wird voraussichtlich im vierten Quartal 2025 beginnen, der kommerzielle Betrieb ist für das dritte Quartal 2026 geplant.

Vestas selected as preferred supplier for the 600 MW Wando Geumil offshore wind project in South Korea

The offshore wind industry continues to grow in Asia Pacific and to underline Vestas’ key role in the expansion of offshore wind in the region, Vestas is proud to announce the signing of preferred supplier agreement with Korea South-East Power Company (KOEN) for the 600 MW Wando Geumil offshore wind project in Wando-Gun, South Jeolla Province, South Korea.

If the project materialises, Vestas will supply and install 40 units of the V236-15.0 MW turbine. Vestas will also deliver 20 years of operation and maintenance service for the wind farm when operational.

Delivery of the turbines will be expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, with commercial operation scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
