Siemens Gamesa, Arise und Foresight tun sich erneut für ein neues schwedisches Projekt zusammen

• Der 277-MW-Windpark Kölvallen wird aus 41 Einheiten der SG 6.6-170-Turbine und einer SG 6.6-155-Maschine bestehen
• Der Standort liegt 15 km von Skaftåsen entfernt, dem ersten Projekt, das die Siemens Gamesa 5.X-Plattform für den Entwickler Arise und den Infrastrukturinvestor Foresight Group nutzt
• Das Projekt soll Anfang 2025 installiert werden und wird durch einen 35-jährigen Servicevertrag abgedeckt, um einen optimalen Betrieb zu gewährleisten

(WK-intern) – Siemens Gamesa, Arise und die Foresight Group werden für ein weiteres Großprojekt in Schweden zusammenarbeiten und dabei die wettbewerbsfähigste Onshore-Plattform des Unternehmens, Siemens Gamesa 5.X, verwenden.

Das Projekt wird von Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners, dem Flaggschiff-Energiewendefonds der Foresight Group, erworben.

Das 277-MW-Projekt Kölvallen soll Anfang 2025 installiert werden und wird 41 Einheiten des Modells SG 6.6-170 und einen SG 6.6-155 umfassen. Der Windpark wird in der Nähe des Skaftåsen-Projekts stehen, das von den drei Unternehmen geleitet wird und derzeit installiert wird. Skaftåsen war das erste Unternehmen, das die Siemens Gamesa 5.X-Plattform nutzte, eine der wettbewerbsfähigsten in Bezug auf Levelized Cost of Energy (LCoE) in der Onshore-Landschaft.

Der Vertrag zwischen den Parteien ist auch bemerkenswert für seinen langen 35-jährigen Servicevertrag, der sicherstellt, dass die Maschinen während ihrer gesamten Lebensdauer optimal funktionieren. Sie werden auf 135-Meter-Türmen für die SG 6.6-170-Turbinen und auf einem 122,5-Meter-Turm für die SG 6.6-155-Version sitzen.

Die Geschäftsbank NORD/LB stellte als alleiniger Mandated Lead Arranger ein Finanzierungspaket bereit, um den Bau des Windparks zu unterstützen, wobei Foresight von Newsec Infra bei der Schuldenstrukturierung der Transaktion beraten wurde.

Siemens Gamesa, Arise and Foresight Group will collaborate for another major project in Sweden using the company’s most competitive onshore platform, the Siemens Gamesa 5.X. The project will be acquired by Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners, Foresight Group’s flagship energy transition fund.

The 277-MW Kölvallen project is due to be installed in early 2025, and will feature 41 units of the SG 6.6-170 model and one SG 6.6-155. The wind farm will stand close to the Skaftåsen project led by the three companies and currently being installed. Skaftåsen was the first to use the Siemens Gamesa 5.X platform, one of the most competitive in terms of Levelized Cost of Energy (LCoE) in the onshore landscape.

The contract between the parties is also noteworthy for its lengthy 35-year service contract, assuring the machines operate to the best of their capacities over their lifetime. They will sit on towers of 135 meters for the SG 6.6-170 turbines, and on a 122.5-meter tower for the SG 6.6-155 version.

Between Skaftåsen and Kölvallen the two wind farms will provide significant green energy for Sweden,” said Clark MacFarlane, CEO of Siemens Gamesa’s operations in Northern Europe and the Middle East.

Commercial bank NORD/LB provided a financing package as the sole Mandated Lead Arranger to support the construction of the wind farm with Foresight advised by Newsec Infra on the debt structuring of the deal.
