Valmet wird ein Dampfturbinen-Steuerungssystem an die Abfallrecyclinganlage der Energie AG in Wels, Österreich, liefern.

(WK-intern) – Das Unternehmen migriert die aktuellen Turbinensteuerungen auf das Valmet DNA-Automatisierungssystem, um über ein vollständig integriertes Steuerungssystem für die gesamte Anlage zu verfügen.

Dies führt auch zu einer besseren Transparenz des gesamten Prozesses sowie zu einfacheren und effizienteren Abläufen und Fehlerbehebungen.

Die Bestellung ist in Valmets Auftragseingang für das erste Quartal 2024 enthalten. Der Wert oder die Bestellung wird nicht bekannt gegeben. Die Lieferung erfolgt im April 2024 und die geplante Inbetriebnahme der Turbine ist für Juni 2024 geplant.

Die Lieferung von Valmet für die 23,5-MW-Dampfturbine umfasst eine redundante Valmet DNA-Turbinensteuerung mit neuem Turbinenschutzsystem und neuem Überdrehzahlschutzsystem. Das Valmet DNA Dampfturbinen-Automatisierungssystem bietet Komfort und die Gründlichkeit eines vollständig integrierten Systems. Es eignet sich zur Steuerung von Dampfturbinen jeder Marke mit beliebiger Leistung.

Valmet to deliver steam turbine automation to Energie AG in Austria

Valmet will deliver a steam turbine control system to Energie AG’s waste recycling plant in Wels, Austria. The company is migrating the current turbine controls to Valmet DNA automation system in order to have a fully integrated control system for the whole plant. This will also bring better visibility for the whole process, easier and more efficient operations and troubleshooting.

The order is included in Valmet’s orders received of the first quarter 2024. The value or the order is not disclosed. The delivery will take place in April 2024 and the planned turbine start-up is scheduled for June 2024.

Technical information about the delivery

Valmet’s delivery for the 23.5 MW steam turbine includes redundant Valmet DNA turbine control with new turbine protection system and new overspeed protection system. The Valmet DNA Steam Turbine Automation system offers convenience together with the thoroughness of a fully integrated system. It is suitable to control steam turbines of any brand with any power output.
