Vestas sichert sich mit Repsol das erste Projekt, das die leistungsstärksten Windturbinen umfassen soll, die jemals in Spanien installiert wurden

(WK-intern) – Repsol hat einen 31-MW-Auftrag für den STEV-Windpark, Teil des Delta-II-Projekts, in Aragón, Spanien, erteilt.

Der Vertrag umfasst die Lieferung und Installation von fünf Windturbinen vom Typ V162-6,2 MW.

Dies ist der erste Auftrag für die V162-6,2 MW EnVentus-Turbinen in Spanien und nach der Installation werden die Windturbinen die leistungsstärksten sein, die jemals in Spanien gebaut wurden.

Die Auslieferung der Turbine soll im zweiten Quartal 2024 beginnen, die Inbetriebnahme ist für das vierte Quartal desselben Jahres geplant.

Nach der Inbetriebnahme wird der Windpark genügend saubere Energie liefern, um den Strombedarf von 29.000 Haushalten in Spanien* zu decken und so den Ausstoß von rund 29.600 Tonnen CO2 pro Jahr in die Atmosphäre verhindern.

Vestas hat seit der Installation der ersten Turbine im Jahr 1991 über 5,2 GW Windenergie in mehr als 140 Windparks in Spanien installiert.

Vestas secures first project with Repsol that is to feature the most powerful wind turbines ever installed in Spain

Repsol has placed a 31 MW order for the STEV wind farm, part of the Delta II project, to be located in Aragón, Spain. The contract includes the supply and installation of five V162-6.2 MW wind turbines.

This is the first order for the V162-6.2 MW EnVentus turbines in Spain and once installed, the wind turbines will become the most powerful ever built in Spain.

Turbine delivery is expected to start in the second quarter of 2024, while commissioning is planned for the fourth quarter of the same year.

Upon commissioning, the wind farm will deliver enough clean energy to cover the electricity demand of 29,000 households in Spain*, preventing around 29,600 tons of CO2 from being emitted into the atmosphere per year.
