RWE erneut erfolgreich bei italienischer Ausschreibung für fortschrittliche Agrar-Photovoltaik

• Insgesamt 30,2 MWac und rund 47.000 Solarmodule werden in ganz Italien installiert.
• Baubeginn in den kommenden Wochen; Inbetriebnahme geplant für 2026
• Die Solarmodule werden auf erhöhten Montagekonstruktionen installiert.

(WK-intern) – Essen/Rom – RWE war erneut erfolgreich bei der Ausschreibung des italienischen Resilienz- und Wiederaufbauplans (PNRR).

Diese vergibt einen Differenztarifvertrag und eine Rendite von bis zu 40 % für fortschrittliche Agrar-Photovoltaik.

Nachdem RWE bereits im vergangenen Jahr bei der PNRR-Ausschreibung die Ausschreibung für zwei Projekte gewonnen hatte, die sich derzeit im Bau befinden, wurden dem Unternehmen nun drei neue Agrar-Photovoltaikprojekte mit einer Gesamtkapazität von 30,2 Megawatt (MWac) zugesprochen. Acquafredda 2 (11,7 MWac) befindet sich in der Region Kampanien, Enna Piscopo (9,5 MW) in Sizilien und Cave (9 MWac) in Kalabrien. Der Bau der rund 47.000 Solarmodule soll in den kommenden Wochen beginnen, die Inbetriebnahme ist für 2026 geplant.

Die drei Agri-PV-Projekte nutzen erhöhte Montagesysteme. Zwei der Projekte verwenden hohe Nachführsysteme mit beweglicher Achse, während das dritte Projekt eine hohe, fest installierte Konstruktion mit Neigungswinkel aufweist, die besser zum agrivoltaisch-weidewirtschaftlichen Konzept passt. Unterhalb der Module weiden Schafe oder es werden Feldfrüchte geerntet – ein vollständig integriertes Energie-Agrar-System, das den landwirtschaftlichen Ertrag steigert und gleichzeitig die Landnutzung optimiert. Die Module bieten Schutz vor Hagel, Frost, Dürre und Starkregen. Um die Technologie weiter zu verbessern, überwacht RWE die Leistung der drei fortschrittlichen Agri-PV-Systeme sowie meteorologische Daten und Ertragsdaten.

RWE Renewables Italia – starke Präsenz auf dem italienischen Markt für erneuerbare Energien

RWE ist ein wichtiger Akteur auf dem italienischen Markt für erneuerbare Energien. Das Unternehmen verfolgt einen integrierten Projektansatz, der die Entwicklung, den Bau, den Betrieb und die Vermarktung von Windparks und Solaranlagen umfasst. RWE once again successful in Italian advanced Agri-PV auction

Essen/Rome – RWE was once again successful at the Italian Resilience and Recovery Plan (PNRR) auction, which awards a contract for difference tariff and up to 40% return on investment for advanced Agri-PV. After having won the tender for two projects in last year’s PNRR auction, which are currently under construction, RWE has now been awarded three new Agri-PV projects with a total capacity of 30,2 megawatts (MWac). Acquafredda 2 (11,7 MWac) is located in the Campania region, Enna Piscopo (9,5 MW) in Sicily and Cave (9 MWac) in Calabria. Construction of the approximately 47,000 solar modules is scheduled to begin within the next weeks, with commissioning scheduled for 2026.

The three Agri-PV projects will use elevated mounting structures. Two of the projects will have high tracker structures with a movable axis, while the third will have a high, fixed-tilt structure, which is more compatible with the agrivoltaic-pastoral scope. Sheep will graze or crops will be harvested below the panels in a fully integrated energy-agri system, increasing agricultural yield while optimising land use. The panels provide protection against hail, frost, drought and heavy rain. To help improve the technology the performance of the three advanced Agri-PV systems and meteorological and agricultural yield data will be monitored by RWE.
