August 2013 Werbung (WK-news) - Luzern - Zur Vorbereitung des Stromnetzes auf die Energiezukunft startete die Centralschweizerische Kraftwerke AG (CKW) Anfang Jahr ein Pilotprojekt zur dezentralen Speicherung von Solarstrom. Nun ist klar, wo der erste dezentrale Stromspeicher im Kanton Luzern stehen wird: im Schlosspark Meggenhorn. Die Gemeinde Meggen wird zur ersten Pilotkundin. Auf dem Scheunendach des Landwirtschaftsbetriebs Schloss Meggenhorn entsteht bis Oktober 2013 eine 560 m2 grosse Solaranlage, die den jährlichen Strombedarf von ca. 20 Haushalten decken kann. Zeitgleich installiert CKW in der Scheune einen dezentralen Speicher. August 2013 Werbung (WK-intern) - Global wind and solar developer, Mainstream Renewable Power and Japanese Trading Company Marubeni Corporation today agreed a €100 million equity investment deal which sees Marubeni gaining a circa 25% holding in Mainstream. The deal, which is subject to shareholder approval, represents the largest single equity investment in the company’s five and a half year history. As part of the agreement Marubeni obtains the right to representation on the Mainstream Board of Directors alongside Barclays which invested in the company in 2008.
