Vestas erhält 97-MW-Auftrag für zwei Windprojekte in Italien

ERG hat einen 97-MW-Auftrag für das Repowering des bestehenden Camporeale-Projekts und für den neuen Roccapalumba-Windpark erteilt, beide in Sizilien, Italien.

Der Vertrag umfasst die Lieferung und Installation von 12 V117-4,2-MW-Windturbinen für den 50-MW-Windpark Camporeale und 13 V117-3,45-MW-Windturbinen, die im leistungsoptimierten 3,6-MW-Modus für das 47-MW-Roccapalumba-Projekt geliefert werden.

Der Vertrag umfasst auch die Wartung der Windkraftanlagen im Rahmen eines mehrjährigen Active Output Management (AOM 5000) Servicevertrags.

Vestas wins 97 MW order for two wind projects in Italy

ERG has placed a 97 MW order for the repowering of the existing Camporeale project and for the new Roccapalumba wind park, both located in Sicily, Italy. The contract includes the supply and installation of 12 V117-4.2 MW wind for the 50 MW Camporeale wind park, and 13 V117-3.45 MW wind turbines delivered in 3.6 MW power optimised mode for the 47 MW Roccapalumba project.

The contract also includes the maintenance of the wind turbines under a multi-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement.

Furthermore, the Camporeale project is an excellent example of how repowering is also driving the clean energy transition by exchanging older wind turbines with more advanced technology. The projects were awarded at the seventh auction round held in Italy in 2021. Vestas has secured more than 1.7 GW of contracts from the energy auction system in Italy, where it has installed over 4.7 GW since 1991, accounting for a market share of more than 40 percent.

Turbine delivery for both projects is planned by the first quarter of 2023 whilst commissioning will take place in the second quarter of 2023.

Vestas has received an order for a project in Australia that includes the supply and installation of 18 V150-4.2 MW.

Delivery the wind turbines is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2023, with commissioning to commence in the third quarter of 2023.

The project and customer names are undisclosed.

Vestas wins 93 MW EnVentus order in Finland

Vestas has secured a 93 MW order for a project in Finland. The order includes supply and installation of 15 V162-6.2 MW turbines from Vestas’ EnVentus platform and Vestas will provide service for the project through a full scope Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.

The project will receive turbines in the second quarter of 2023 and be fully commissioned by the fourth quarter the same year.

The customer and project are undisclosed.
