Vestas hat von der Tochtergesellschaft von Enefit Green AS, Enefit Wind Purtse, einen 21-MW-Auftrag für das Windprojekt Purtse in Estland erhalten, das den Markteintritt von Vestas in Estland darstellt.

(WK-intern) – Der Auftrag markiert auch die erste Zusammenarbeit von Vestas mit Enefit Green.

Der Auftrag umfasst die Lieferung und Installation von fünf V136-4,2-MW-Turbinen, die auf einer Nabenhöhe von 82 m installiert sind.

Vestas wird die Turbinen auch im Rahmen eines 30-jährigen Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000)-Servicevertrags warten.

Aavo Kärmas, Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrats von Enefit Wind Putse, sagt: „Der Windpark Purtse wird der erste große Windpark sein, der seit vielen Jahren in Estland gebaut wird, und er bestätigt, dass neue Kapazitäten für erneuerbare Energien schnell aufgebaut werden können. Die Lieferungen für das Windprojekt Purtse sollen im ersten Quartal 2023 beginnen, während die Inbetriebnahme für das erste Halbjahr 2023 geplant ist.

Enefit Green erwarb im März 2021 das Entwicklungsprojekt für den Windpark Purtse von Raunistal und traf die endgültige Investitionsentscheidung für den Baubeginn im Januar 2022.

Vestas secures first wind project in Estonia with 21 MW order from Enefit Green

Vestas has received a 21 MW order from Enefit Green AS’s subsidiary, Enefit Wind Purtse, for the Purtse wind project in Estonia, which represents Vestas’ market entry into Estonia. The order also marks Vestas’ first collaboration with Enefit Green.

The order includes the supply and installation of five V136-4.2 MW turbines installed at a hub height of 82m. Vestas will also service the turbines under a 30-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.

Aavo Kärmas, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Enefit Wind Putse says “Purtse Wind Farm will be the first large wind farm to be built in Estonia in many years, and it confirms that new renewable energy capacities can be built quickly. The most powerful and modern wind turbines in Estonia will start generating electricity in Purtse, and a reliable partner in their installation ensures that the farm is completed on time and provides important environmentally friendly energy for Estonia throughout its life”.

Deliveries at the Purtse wind project are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2023, while commissioning is planned for the first half of 2023.

Enefit Green acquired the development project for Purtse Wind Farm from Raunistal in March 2021 and made the final investment decision to start construction in January 2022.
