OX2 ernennt Matthias Taft zum neuen CEO von OX2. Paul Stormoen wechselt in den Vorstand. Matthias Taft, zuvor CEO von BayWa r.e., übernimmt die neue Position zum 1. September 2025.

(WK-intern) – Matthias Taft war in den letzten 15 Jahren in führenden Positionen beim deutschen Entwickler erneuerbarer Energien und unabhängigen Stromerzeuger (IPP) BayWa r.e. tätig, davon die letzten 12 Jahre als Konzern-CEO.

Er folgt auf Paul Stormoen, der in den Vorstand wechselt.

Paul Stormoen ist seit 2011 CEO und hat OX2 von einem kleinen schwedischen Entwickler von Onshore-Windparks zu einem internationalen IPP mit verschiedenen Technologiefeldern geführt. Paul Stormoen bleibt Mitglied des Vorstands, um die Kontinuität zu gewährleisten.

OX2 has appointed Matthias Taft as the new CEO of OX2, with Paul Stormoen transitioning to board member. Matthias Taft, who previously served as CEO of BayWa r.e., will take on the new position as of September 1st, 2025.

Matthias Taft has held leading positions at the German renewable energy developer and independent power producer (IPP) BayWa r.e. the last 15 years, the last 12 years as the Group CEO. He succeeds Paul Stormoen who will transition to a board member.

Paul Stormoen has been the CEO since 2011, leading OX2 from a small Swedish developer of onshore wind farms to an international IPP, active in several technologies. Paul Stormoen will stay on as a board member to ensure continuity.
