Madrid, Spanien – GE Vernova gab heute bekannt, dass es eine Rahmenvereinbarung mit Forestalia zur Installation von Onshore-Windturbinen mit einer Leistung von bis zu 693 MW an 16 zukünftigen Projektstandorten in der gesamten Region Aragonien in Spanien unterzeichnet hat.

(WK-intern) – Durch diese exklusive Rahmenvereinbarung werden 110 der Windturbinen 6.1-158 von GE in sechs Phasen in der Nähe von Zaragoza installiert.

Die erste Phase läuft bereits mit der Installation von 33 Windkraftanlagen in fünf Windparks. Der Deal baut auf dem Erfolg der vorherigen Vereinbarung aus dem Jahr 2016 auf und erweitert GEs größte Windkooperation in Spanien.

Die durch die Rahmenvereinbarung abgedeckte Gesamtanlage wird aus 110 GE 6.1-158-Arbeitsturbinen bestehen – 33 Turbinen mit 101 m Nabenhöhe und 77 Turbinen mit 120,9 m Nabenhöhe. Alle Lieferungen sollen bis Ende 2024 abgeschlossen sein.

Die Partnerschaft zwischen GE und Forestalia erreichte im Jahr 2022 mit der Unterzeichnung des ersten europäischen Stromabnahmevertrags (PPA) von GE für den Windpark Coto in Spanien, der sich im Besitz von Forestalia befindet, einen wichtigen Meilenstein. Madrid, Spain – GE Vernova announced today that it has signed a framework agreement with Forestalia to install up to 693 MW of onshore wind turbines across 16 future project sites throughout the Aragon region in Spain. Through this exclusive framework agreement, 110 of GE’s 6.1-158 wind turbines will be installed in six phases near Zaragoza. The first phase is already underway with 33 wind turbines to be installed at five wind farms. The deal builds on the success of the previous agreement signed in 2016 and expands GE’s largest wind collaboration in Spain.

The total installation covered by the framework agreement will be made up of 110 GE 6.1-158 workhorse turbines – 33 turbines with 101M hub heights, and 77 turbines with 120.9M hub heights. All deliveries are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024.

The partnership between GE and Forestalia reached an important milestone in 2022, with the signature of GE’s first European Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) from the Coto wind farm in Spain, owned by Forestalia.
