Sweco hat im Zusammenhang mit dem laufenden Ausbau der Stockholmer U-Bahn einen neuen Auftrag erhalten.

(WK-intern) – Der Kunde ist die Region Stockholm, die eine der größten Investitionen aller Zeiten in das Stockholmer U-Bahn-Netz tätigt.

Der neue Vertrag folgt mehreren anderen Projekten, die Sweco seit 2014 für die neue Stockholmer U-Bahnlinie durchgeführt hat.

Das Stockholmer U-Bahn-Netz befördert täglich über 1,1 Millionen Fahrgäste und soll angesichts des rasanten Wachstums der Region deutlich ausgebaut werden. Seit 2014 erbringen Sweco und der spanische Partner TYPSA erfolgreich Dienstleistungen wie Architektur-, Bau- und Maschinenbau-, Elektro- und Sanitärplanung (MEP) sowie Visualisierungsbilder und Medien für die neu zu bauenden Bahnhöfe.

Im Rahmen des neuen Vertrags werden Sweco und sein Partner TYPSA Bauüberwachung, Baukoordination und fachkundige Unterstützung für alle Versorgungsunternehmen, die Eisenbahn und ihre unterstützenden Systeme für die Umsetzung einer 11,5 Kilometer langen U-Bahn-Linie in Stockholm einschließlich sieben neuer Stationen liefern. Das Projekt startete im November 2023 und soll im Jahr 2030 abgeschlossen sein.

Die neue U-Bahn-Linie wird an die bestehende Station Kungsträdgården in der Innenstadt von Stockholm angeschlossen und durch Grundgestein und unter Wasser unter einer Bucht der Ostsee verlaufen, wobei eine ihrer Stationen 100 Meter unter der Erdoberfläche liegt, bis zur Gemeinde Nacka im Osten Stockholms.

Swecos Erfahrung mit U-Bahn-Projekten
Um den Anforderungen einer wachsenden städtischen Bevölkerung sowie der gestiegenen Nachfrage nach modernen Transport- und Mobilitätslösungen gerecht zu werden, werden in großen Infrastrukturprojekten von Kommunen in mehreren europäischen Ländern neue U-Bahnlinien gebaut und bestehende Linien erweitert. Sweco hat erhebliche Mengen an Ingenieurleistungen für die Transport- und Mobilitätsinfrastruktur von U-Bahn-Erweiterungen in Finnland, Schweden, den Niederlanden, Belgien und Frankreich geliefert.

Sweco wins 250 MSEK contract for new metro line in Stockholm

Sweco has been awarded a new contract in connection to the ongoing expansion of the Stockholm metro. The client is Region Stockholm which is making one of the largest ever investments in the Stockholm metro network. The new contract follows several other projects that Sweco has carried out for the new Stockholm metro line since 2014.

Stockholm’s metro network handles over 1.1 million passengers daily and is planned to be expanded significantly as the region is growing rapidly. Since 2014, Sweco and Spanish partner TYPSA, have successfully provided services such as architectural, civil and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design, as well as visualization images and media of the new stations to be built.

Under the new contract, Sweco and partner TYPSA will be delivering site supervision, works coordination and expert support services for all utilities, the railway and its supporting systems, for the implementation of a 11.5 kilometres long metro line in Stockholm, including seven new stations. The project started in November 2023 and is planned to be completed in 2030.

The new metro line will connect to the existing Kungsträdgården station in downtown Stockholm and run through bedrock and underwater under an inlet of the Baltic Sea, with one of its stations located 100 metres below ground level, to the Nacka Municipality in the east of Stockholm.
