NKT gewinnt schlüsselfertiges Projekt zur Erneuerung eines Teils des Stromnetzes in Stockholm für Ellevio

(WK-intern) – Im vergangenen Jahr unterzeichnete NKT einen Rahmenvertrag mit dem schwedischen Energieversorger Ellevio.

Der von NKT gewonnene schlüsselfertige Auftrag ist der erste im Rahmen dieser Vereinbarung und wird das Stromnetz von Ellevio im Stockholmer Stadtteil Stadshagen modernisieren.

NKT hat gerade vom schwedischen Stromnetzunternehmen Ellevio einen weiteren schlüsselfertigen Auftrag zur Modernisierung des Stromnetzes im Bezirk Stadshagen im Raum Stockholm erhalten. Gemäß dem schlüsselfertigen Vertrag wird NKT das Design, die Installation einschließlich Verbindungen und Anschlüsse sowie Kabel für drei 110-kV-Wechselstrom-Landanschlüsse in einem Tunnel und einem Schacht liefern. Die Kabel für das Projekt wurden von NKT in seiner Fabrik in Falun, Schweden, hergestellt.

– Dies ist ein strategisch wichtiges Projekt für NKT Service & Installation, da es unsere Erfahrung und Fähigkeit unter Beweis stellt, schlüsselfertige Lösungen anzubieten, von der Produktion der Kabel bis zum Installationsprozess. „Wir können das Design, die Kabel, die Installationstechnik, das Zubehör und die Tests liefern, die für dieses Projekt erforderlich sind, und die Tatsache, dass wir die Fähigkeiten und Grenzen unserer Produkte kennen, ermöglicht es uns, die Installation effizient und zeitnah durchzuführen“, sagt Johan Löjdquist, Leiter für Onshore-Vertrieb, Service und Installation in Schweden.

Das Projekt ist das erste im Rahmen der vierjährigen Rahmenvereinbarung, die NKT Ende letzten Jahres mit Ellevio unterzeichnet hat, um das Stromnetz in Mittelschweden zu stärken und zu erweitern. Das Projekt in Stadshagen wird das Netz stärken, indem es drei alte Kabelverbindungen ersetzt.

– Es ist uns eine Freude, unsere langjährige Zusammenarbeit mit Ellevio fortsetzen zu können, um deren Stromkabelnetz in Mittelschweden zu sichern und zu modernisieren. „Dies ist ein weiteres Projekt im Raum Stockholm, das wir für Ellevio durchführen, und NKT freut sich, unser Fachwissen und unsere Erfolgsbilanz bei solchen Onshore-Netzausbauprojekten nutzen zu können“, sagt Johan.

Das Stadshagen-Projekt beginnt jetzt und soll bis Juni 2024 fertig sein.

NKT wins turnkey project to renew part of the power grid in Stockholm for Ellevio

Last year NKT signed a frame agreement with the Swedish utility company, Ellevio. The turnkey contract won by NKT is the first under this agreement and will upgrade Ellevio’s power grid in the Stadshagen area of Stockholm.

NKT has just been awarded another turnkey contract by Swedish electricity network company Ellevio to upgrade the electric grid in the district of Stadshagen in the Stockholm area. According to the turnkey contract NKT will deliver the design, installation including joints and terminations as well as cables for three 110 kV AC onshore connections in a tunnel and a shaft. The cables for the project have been produced by NKT at its factory in Falun, Sweden.

– This is a strategically important project to NKT Service & Installation as it demonstrates our experience and ability to provide turnkey solutions, from the production of the cables to the installation process. We can deliver the design, cables, installation engineering, accessories and testing required for this project, and the fact that we know our products’ abilities and limitations enables us to carry out the installation in an efficient and timely manner, says Johan Löjdquist, Head of Onshore Sales, Service & Installation in Sweden.

The project is the first one under the four-year frame agreement that NKT signed with Ellevio late last year to reinforce and expand the power grid in central Sweden. The project in Stadshagen will reinforce the grid by replacing three legacy cable connections.

This is yet another project in the Stockholm area that we are carrying out for Ellevio, and NKT is pleased to use our expertise and track record in such onshore grid upgrading projects, says Johan.

The Stadshagen project will commence now and is scheduled to be ready by June 2024.
