Paris – GE Renewable Energy gab heute bekannt, dass es von Inikti als Lieferant für den Windpark Otada in Litauen ausgewählt wurde, der sich in der Nähe der Stadt Sakiai im Südwesten des Landes befindet.

(WK-intern) – Mit diesem 18-MW-Projekt wird die installierte Onshore-Windkapazität von GE in Litauen bis Ende 2023 fast 500 MW erreichen.

Der Entwickler und Investor des Windparks – Inikti – wird vier GE-Turbinen mit einer Leistung von 5,5 MW betreiben, die auf 4,5 MW reduziert sind, mit einem Rotordurchmesser von 158 m.

Alle Turbinen werden auf einem 151 Meter hohen Turm errichtet. Die Installation der Windkraftanlagen am Projektstandort erfolgt im 3. Quartal 2023.

Laut dem litauischen Windkraftverband LVEA erreichte Litauen im Jahr 2021 eine installierte Leistung von 668 MW Windkraft im Land und nähert sich nun der 800-MW-Marke. Das Land hat sich ein ehrgeiziges Ziel von 7 GW installierter Leistung aus erneuerbaren Energiequellen bis 2030 gesetzt.

Die leistungsstärkste Onshore-Windplattform von GE umfasst Turbinen mit Nennleistungen zwischen 4,8 und 6,1 MW, Rotordurchmessern von 158 und 164 Metern und verschiedenen Nabenhöhen. Seit der Einführung der Onshore-Windflotte 4.8-6.1 im Jahr 2017 hat GE Renewable Energy fast 9 GW an Aufträgen erhalten und weltweit mehr als 4 Millionen Betriebsstunden gesammelt.

GE Renewable Energy continues to add wind power to Lithuania

Paris – GE Renewable Energy announced today that it has been selected by Inikti as the supplier for the Otada wind farm in Lithuania, located near Sakiai city in the south west of the country. With this 18 MW project, GE’s total installed onshore wind capacity in Lithuania will reach close to 500 MW by the end of 2023.

The developer and investor of the wind farm – Inikti – will operate four GE turbines at 5.5 MW derated at 4.5 MW, with a rotor diameter of 158m. All turbines will be erected on a 151m tower. The installation of the wind turbines at the project site will take place in Q3 2023.

According to the Lithuanian wind power association, LVEA, Lithuania reached an installed capacity of 668 MW of wind power in the country in 2021 and is now approaching the 800 MW mark. The country has set an ambitious target of 7 GW of installed capacity from renewable energy sources by 2030.
