Gericht erlässt einstweilige Verfügung zur Wiederaufnahme der betroffenen Bauarbeiten bei Revolution Wind

(WK-intern) – Das US-Bezirksgericht für den District of Columbia hat heute die von Revolution Wind beantragte einstweilige Verfügung bezüglich der behördlichen Arbeitsunterbrechung erlassen.

Damit kann Revolution Wind, LLC die betroffenen Aktivitäten wieder aufnehmen, während das zugrunde liegende Verfahren gegen die Arbeitsunterbrechung fortgeführt wird. Revolution Wind wird weiterhin mit der US-Regierung und anderen Beteiligten zusammenarbeiten, um eine rasche Lösung zu finden.

Revolution Wind wird die betroffenen Bauarbeiten so schnell wie möglich wieder aufnehmen, wobei die Sicherheit oberste Priorität hat. Ørsteds Tochtergesellschaft Revolution Wind, ein 50/50-Joint Venture mit Skyborn Renewables von Global Infrastructure Partner, baut das Offshore-Windprojekt Revolution Wind.

Court issues preliminary injunction allowing Revolution Wind impacted construction to resume

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia today granted the preliminary injunction sought by Revolution Wind regarding the government’s stop-work order, allowing Revolution Wind, LLC to restart impacted activities while the underlying lawsuit challenging the stop-work order progresses. Revolution Wind will continue to seek to work collaboratively with the US Administration and other stakeholders toward a prompt resolution.

Revolution Wind will resume impacted construction work as soon as possible, with safety as the top priority. Ørsted’s subsidiary Revolution Wind, a 50/50 joint venture with Global Infrastructure Partner’s Skyborn Renewables, is constructing the Revolution Wind offshore wind project.
