Vestas sichert sich einen 960-MW-Festauftrag über V236-15,0-MW-Windturbinen für das Offshore-Windprojekt He Dreiht von EnBW

(WK-intern) – Vestas hat sich einen Festauftrag über 960 MW für die Flaggschiff-Offshore-Windturbine V236-15.0 MW gesichert.

Der Auftrag umfasst 64 Windturbinen vom Typ V236-15,0 MW für das Projekt He Dreiht in den deutschen Gewässern der Nordsee.

Vestas wird außerdem einen fünfjährigen Servicevertrag für Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) liefern, gefolgt von einem langfristigen Betriebsunterstützungsvertrag.

Dieser feste Auftragseingang folgt der angekündigten Vorzugslieferantenvereinbarung vom 9. Juli 2021 und dem bedingten Angebot vom 7. Juni 2022.

Das Projekt verfügt über eine Netzanschlusskapazität von 900 MW und eine Überkapazität von 60 MW, um die Anschlusskapazität auch bei geringerer Produktion möglichst effizient zu nutzen.

Die Installation soll im zweiten Quartal 2025 beginnen, die Inbetriebnahme ist für das vierte Quartal desselben Jahres geplant.

Die V236-15.0 MW war die erste 15-MW-Turbine überhaupt, die im Februar 2021 auf den Markt gebracht wurde. Die Installation des Prototyps der Turbine wurde im Dezember 2022 abgeschlossen, wo die Turbine auch erfolgreich ihre erste kWh Strom produzierte. Der Prototyp durchläuft derzeit ein umfangreiches Test- und Verifizierungsprogramm, um die Zuverlässigkeit vor der vollständigen Typzertifizierung sicherzustellen. In der gesamten Vestas-Wertschöpfungskette bereiten wir uns auf die Umsetzung kommerzieller Projekte vor, deren Serienproduktion für 2024 geplant ist.

Vestas secures a 960 MW firm order of V236-15.0 MW wind turbines for EnBW’s He Dreiht offshore wind project

Vestas has secured a 960 MW firm order for the flagship offshore wind turbine V236-15.0 MW. The order includes 64 V236-15.0 MW wind turbines for the He Dreiht project located in the German waters of the North Sea. Vestas will also deliver a five-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement followed by a long-term Operational Support Agreement.

This firm order intake follows the announced preferred supplier agreement on 9 July 2021 and the conditional offer on 7 June 2022.

The project has a grid connection capacity of 900 MW and an excess capacity of 60 MW in order to use the connection capacity as efficiently as possible, even when production is lower.

Installation is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2025, and commissioning is scheduled for the fourth quarter of the same year.

The V236-15.0 MW was the first ever 15 MW turbine to be introduced to the market in February 2021 and the installation of the prototype turbine was completed in December 2022 where the turbine also successfully produced its first kWh of power. The prototype is currently undergoing an extensive test and verification programme to ensure reliability before full type certification. Across the entire Vestas value chain, we are getting ready to deliver on commercial projects with serial production scheduled for 2024.
