Vestas sichert sich einen 1300-MW-Auftrag mit Casa dos Ventos in Brasilien, dem bisher größten Onshore-Auftrag für Vestas

(WK-intern) – Unter Bezugnahme auf die Unternehmensmitteilung Nr. 07/2023 vom 30. März 2023 hat Vestas eine Vereinbarung mit Casa dos Ventos für zwei Projekte in Brasilien unterzeichnet: den Windpark Serra do Tigre im Bundesstaat Rio Grande do Norte und Babilônia Centro im Bundesstaat Bahia.

Die Projekte haben nach vollständiger Installation eine Gesamtkapazität von 1300 MW und sind damit der bisher größte Onshore-Auftrag für Vestas in Lateinamerika und weltweit.

Der Festauftrag umfasst die Lieferung, Installation, den Betrieb und die Wartung von 168 V150-4,5-MW-Turbinen für das 756-MW-Projekt Serra do Tigre und 123 V150-4,5-MW-Turbinen für das 554-MW-Projekt Babilônia Centro. Vestas wird außerdem einen 25-jährigen Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) Servicevertrag liefern. Diese Vereinbarung wird die Energieerzeugung optimieren und gleichzeitig langfristige Business-Case-Sicherheit bieten.

Die Lieferung von Serra do Tigre und Babilônia Centro soll voraussichtlich im dritten Quartal 2024 beginnen, und die Inbetriebnahme wird voraussichtlich im ersten Quartal 2025 beginnen.

Mit diesem Auftrag hat Vestas seit 2018 einen Auftragseingang von fast 10 GW in Brasilien für die 4-MW-Plattform gesichert und sie als die meistverkaufte Windturbinenplattform aller Zeiten im Land gefestigt.

Vestas secures 1.3 GW order with Casa dos Ventos in Brazil, the largest onshore order to date for Vestas

With reference to Company Announcement no. 07/2023 of 30 March 2023, Vestas has signed an agreement with Casa dos Ventos for two projects in Brazil: Serra do Tigre wind park in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, and Babilônia Centro in the state of Bahia. The projects have a total capacity of 1.3 GW once fully installed, making it the largest onshore order to date for Vestas in Latin America and globally.

The firm order includes the supply, installation, operation and maintenance of 168 V150-4.5 MW turbines for the 756 MW Serra do Tigre project and 123 V150-4.5 MW turbines for the 554 MW Babilônia Centro project. Vestas will also deliver a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement. This agreement will optimise energy production while also providing long-term business case certainty.

The delivery of the Serra do Tigre and Babilônia Centro is estimated to begin in the third quarter of 2024 and the commissioning is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025.

With this order, Vestas has secured almost 10 GW of order intake in Brazil for the 4 MW platform since 2018, consolidating it as the best-selling wind turbine platform of all time in the country.
