RWE hat seinen französischen Erneuerbare-Energien-Park um vier neue Windparks und einen Solarpark erweitert.

(WK-intern) – Insgesamt können die neuen Anlagen ausreichend grünen Strom erzeugen, um rund 40.000 Haushalte zu versorgen.

Im Sommer nahm RWE in Frankreich vier neue Windparks und eine Solaranlage mit einer installierten Gesamtleistung von 83 Megawatt (MW) in Betrieb.

Die Anlagen befinden sich in den Regionen Hauts-de-France, Normandie und Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Nach der erfolgreichen Teilnahme an den Ausschreibungen der französischen Energieregulierungsbehörde (CRE) für Onshore-Wind- und Solarenergie im Jahr 2023 begann RWE 2024 mit dem Bau der Anlagen.

In der Region Hauts-de-France errichtete RWE den Windpark Catillon-Fumechon (21,6 MW, sechs Turbinen) in der gleichnamigen Gemeinde, den Windpark Catésis-Bois Marronnier (29,2 MW, acht Turbinen) in den Gemeinden Troivilles und Reumont und erweiterte den Windpark Nouvions um vier Turbinen (insgesamt 19,2 MW). In der Normandie nahm das Unternehmen den Windpark Ormesnil (9,6 MW, zwei Turbinen) in Betrieb. Und in Nouvelle-Aquitaine installierte RWE 7.420 Solarmodule in der Photovoltaikanlage Les Pierrières (4,2 MWp) in Ardillières.

Nächste Windprojekte in den Startlöchern

Aufbauend auf diesen jüngsten Erfolgen bereitet RWE den Bau weiterer Windparks in Frankreich vor. RWE war bei den Ausschreibungen für Onshore-Windenergie 2024 mit 82 MW Onshore-Windleistung erfolgreich. Als führender Akteur der Energiewende betreibt RWE in Frankreich Wind- und Solarparks mit einer Gesamtkapazität von 265 MW.

RWE has commissioned 83 megawatts of wind and solar capacity in France

• RWE has added four new wind farms and one solar farm to its French renewables fleet
• In total the new plants will be able to generate enough green electricity to supply around 40,000 households

Over the summer, RWE commissioned four new wind farms and one solar plant with a total installed capacity of 83 megawatts (MW) in France. Located in the Hauts-de-France, Normandy and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions, RWE started construction of the plants in 2024 following the successful participation in the French Energy Regulatory Commission’s (CRE) 2023 onshore wind and solar tenders.

In the Hauts-de-France region, RWE installed the Catillon-Fumechon wind farm (21.6 MW, six turbines) in the municipality of the same name, the Catésis-Bois Marronnier wind farm (29.2 MW, eight turbines) in the municipalities of Troivilles and

Reumont and added four turbines (19.2 MW in total) to its Nouvions wind farm. In Normandy, the company commissioned the Ormesnil wind farm (9.6 MW, two turbines). And in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, RWE installed 7,420 solar modules at the Les

Pierrières photovoltaic plant (4.2 MWp) in Ardillières.

Next wind projects in the starting blocks

Building on these recent successes, RWE is preparing to construct further wind farms in France. RWE was successful with 82 MW of onshore wind capacity in the 2024 onshore wind tenders.
