(WK-intern) – Die feste Auftragsbekanntgabe bezieht sich auf die Unternehmensmitteilung 16/2023 von Vestas vom 28. September 2023.

Vestas wird 76 Windturbinen vom Typ V236-15,0 MW für das Baltic Power-Projekt liefern, installieren und in Betrieb nehmen.

Nach der Fertigstellung wird Vestas die Turbinen im Rahmen eines 15-jährigen Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000)-Servicevertrags warten, der eine optimale Leistung der Anlagen gewährleisten soll.

Der Projektstandort liegt 23 Kilometer vor der Küste der polnischen Ostseeküste, in der Nähe von Łeba. Die Auslieferung der Windkraftanlagen soll voraussichtlich im ersten Quartal 2025 beginnen, die Inbetriebnahme erfolgt voraussichtlich im Jahr 2026.

Vestas wins 1,140 MW offshore order for V236-15.0 MW wind turbines in Poland

Vestas has secured a 1,140 MW firm order from Baltic Power Sp. z o.o, a joint venture between ORLEN S.A. and Northland Power Inc, for the Baltic Power Offshore Wind Project in Poland.

The firm order announcement is in reference to Vestas’ Company Announcement 16/2023 of 28 September 2023.

Vestas will supply, install, and commission 76 V236-15.0 MW wind turbines for the Baltic Power project. Upon completion, Vestas will service the turbines under a 15-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement designed to ensure optimised performance of the assets.

The project site is located 23 kilometres off the coast of the Polish Baltic Sea shoreline, near Łeba. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025, with commissioning expected in 2026.
