Vestas hat einen 140-MW-Auftrag für die Windparks Cerrato, Atalayas und San Cebrián erhalten, die in Castilla y León, Spanien, errichtet werden sollen.

(WK-intern) – Der Vertrag umfasst die Lieferung und Installation von 20 V163-4,5-MW-Windturbinen und 11 V150-4,5-MW-Windturbinen sowie einen 10-Jahres-Servicevertrag für 4000 Active Output Management (AOM 4000).

Die Windparks San Cebrián und Cerrato werden die ersten V163-4,5-MW-Windturbinen in Europa umfassen.

Die V163-4,5 MW hat ein großes Verhältnis von Rotorgröße zu Nennleistung, was zu einem hohen Kapazitätsfaktor führt, der wiederum eine höhere jährliche Energieproduktion und eine stabilere Leistungsabgabe auf Parkebene ermöglicht. Dies verbessert die Vorhersagbarkeit und Stabilität in der Produktion, optimiert die Auslastung des Windparks und kommt dem Energienetz zugute.

Der Auftrag wurde von Estudios y Proyectos Pradamap y Cerrato Eólica (Grupo Vapat) erteilt. Das Unternehmen hat 650 MW Windkraft entwickelt und in Betrieb genommen und verfügt derzeit über mehr als 2.500 MW an Windkraft- und PV-Hybridprojekten in verschiedenen Entwicklungs- und Baustadien.

Die Lieferung und Inbetriebnahme der Turbine wird bis 2024 erwartet.

Das Projekt wird auch von der Produktionspräsenz von Vestas in Spanien profitieren. Das Unternehmen stellt in seinem Werk in Daimiel (Ciudad Real) V150-Blätter für die 4-MW- und die EnVentus-Plattform her. Seit Vestas 1991 seine erste Windkraftanlage in Spanien installierte, hat das Unternehmen einen Auftragseingang von mehr als 5,1 GW für über 130 Windparks im Land gesichert.

Vestas wins 140 MW order for first V163-4.5 MW projects in Spain

Vestas has received a 140 MW order for the Cerrato, Atalayas and San Cebrián wind parks, to be located in Castilla y León, Spain. The contract includes the supply and installation of 20 V163-4.5 MW wind turbines and 11 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines, as well as a 10-year 4000 Active Output Management (AOM 4000) service agreement.

The San Cebrián and Cerrato wind parks will feature the first V163-4.5 MW wind turbines in Europe. The V163-4.5 MW has a large rotor-size-to-rating ratio resulting in a high capacity factor, which in turn enables higher Annual Energy Production and more stable power output at park level. This improves predictability and stability in production, optimising the utilisation of the wind park as well as benefitting the energy grid.

The order has been placed by Estudios y Proyectos Pradamap y Cerrato Eólica (Grupo Vapat). The company has developed and commissioned 650 MW of wind power, and currently has over 2,500 MW of wind power and PV hybrid projects in different states of development and construction.

Turbine delivery and commissioning are expected by 2024.

The project will also benefit from Vestas’ manufacturing footprint in Spain. The company manufactures V150 blades at its factory in Daimiel (Ciudad Real) for the 4 MW and the EnVentus platforms. Since 1991, when Vestas installed its first wind turbine in Spain, the company has secured an order intake of more than 5.1 GW for over 130 wind parks in the country.
