Vestas sichert sich einen 36-MW-Auftrag in Großbritannien

(WK-intern) – Vestas hat vom schottischen Entwickler Muirhall Energy Limited einen 36-MW-Auftrag für das Projekt Greengairs East erhalten.

Vestas wird acht V136-4,5-MW-Turbinen am Standort Greengairs in der Nähe von Caldercruix, North Lanarkshire in Schottland, liefern und installieren.

Turbinenlieferungen und Inbetriebnahme sind für das vierte Quartal 2022 geplant.

Mit dieser Transaktion stärkt Vestas seine Präsenz auf dem britischen Windenergiemarkt, wo das Unternehmen seit rund 30 Jahren aktiv ist und mehr als 2.400 Windkraftanlagen mit einer Gesamtleistung von rund 7,1 GW installiert hat.

Vestas secures 36 MW order in the UK

Vestas has secured a 36 MW order from Scottish developer Muirhall Energy Limited for the Greengairs East project.

Vestas will supply and install eight V136-4.5 MW turbines at the Greengairs site located near Caldercruix, North Lanarkshire in in Scotland.

Turbine deliveries and commissioning are planned for the fourth quarter of 2022.

With this deal, Vestas strengthens its presence in the UK wind energy market, where the company has been active for around 30 years and has installed more than 2,400 wind turbines with a total capacity of approximately 7.1 GW.
