Im Dezember 2020 nahm Rosatom den größten Windpark in Russland in Betrieb

(WK-intern) – Erster Strom aus dem Windpark Kochubeyevskaya von Rosatom kommt auf den Großhandelsmarkt

Seit Januar dieses Jahres liefert das Kochubeyevskaya Windkraftprojekt Strom und Kapazität an den Großhandelsmarkt (WECM) und wurde zum zweiten abgeschlossenen Projekt von NovaWind JSC (der für die Umsetzung von Windkraftprojekten zuständigen Abteilung von Rosatom) sowie zum größten in Betrieb befindlichen Windkraftwerk des Landes.

Das Windkraftwerk Kochubeyevskaya, das sich in der Region Stavropol befindet, besteht aus 84 Windkraftanlagen (installierte Leistung – 210 MW). Der vom Ministerium für Industrie und Handel der Russischen Föderation bestätigte Lokalisierungsgrad der Anlage beträgt 65 %.

Alexander Korchagin, Generaldirektor von NovaWind JSC sagte:
Erfolgreiche Erfahrungen beim Bau und Betrieb von Windkraftanlagen, die Umsetzung von Plänen zur Schaffung einer Massenproduktion von Komponenten und Baugruppen von Windkraftanlagen in Russland, eine effiziente Lieferkette, auch unter Beteiligung von Unternehmen der Staatskorporation, erlaubten es uns, ein Systemniveau bei der Umsetzung von Projekten in der Windenergie zu erreichen und das Projekt zum Bau des Windkraftwerks Kochubeyevskaya in zwei Jahren abzuschließen. Stavropol Krai ist zu unserer Schlüsselregion geworden. Dies war vor allem dem Interesse und der Unterstützung der lokalen Behörden und persönlich dem Gouverneur von Stavropol Krai V. Rosatom’s Kochubeevskaya wind farm enters wholesale market

11 January 2021 In December 2020, Rosatom commissioned Russia’s largest wind farm – the Kochubeevskaya WPP. Since January 2021, the Kochubeevskaya wind farm has been supplying electricity to Russia’s wholesale electricity and capacity market. In addition to becoming Russia’s largest operating wind farm, Kochubeevskaya is the second project to be completed by JSC NovaWind, Rosatom’s division responsible for implementing wind energy projects.
Situated in the Stavropol Territory, the Kochubeevskaya wind farm consists of 84 wind turbines and has an installed capacity of 210 MW. As per Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, 65% of the farm’s production and assembly benefitted from localised sourcing.

JSC NovaWind Director General Alexander Korchagin, said:
“We were able to become a serial wind farm producer and realise the construction of the Kochubeevskaya WPP project in just two years thanks to our extensive experience in building and operating wind power plants, the successful implementation of our plan to produce wind turbine components and assemble them in a series in Russia, and our efficient supply chain, which includes Rosatom’s various enterprises. Russia’s Stavropol Krai became our key region largely due to the interest and support of local authorities, including Stavropol’s Governor, Vladimir Vladimirov”.

Rosatom is currently implementing its plan to build wind farms at three more sites in the Stavropol Territory and the Rostov Region. By 2024, the company is expected to have commissioned wind power plants with a total capacity of about 1.2 GW.
