GURIT KÜNDIGT MEHRJAHRESVERTRAG FÜR DEN UNTERWASSERSEKTOR AN

(WK-intern) – Zürich – Gurit (SIX Swiss Exchange: GURN) hat einen mehrjährigen Vertrag über die Lieferung von Corecell-Strukturschaumkernen an die Unterwasserindustrie abgeschlossen.

Dies ermöglicht Gurit den weiteren Ausbau seiner Aktivitäten im asiatisch-pazifischen Raum, insbesondere in Australien, wo Gurit zur Unterstützung dieses neuen Vertrags ein neues Werk eröffnen wird.

Das Unternehmen wird die Gelegenheit nutzen, sein bestehendes Vertriebszentrum an den neuen Standort zu verlegen, der voraussichtlich in der Nähe von Brisbane, Queensland, liegen wird.

Dieser Vertrag soll innerhalb von fünf Jahren einen Umsatz im niedrigen bis mittleren zweistelligen Millionen-CHF-Bereich generieren.

Corecell ist ein marktführendes, leistungsstarkes Strukturkernmaterial auf Basis von Styrol-Acrylnitril-Harz (SAN), das ursprünglich in den 1980er Jahren von Gurit entwickelt und seitdem mehrfach verbessert wurde. Es ist nach wie vor unübertroffen auf dem Markt und kann auf eine lange Erfolgsgeschichte in extrem leistungsstarken und anspruchsvollen Anwendungen zurückblicken.

GURIT ANNOUNCES MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT TO SUBSEA SECTOR

Zurich – Gurit (SIX Swiss Exchange: GURN) has secured a multi-year contract supplying Corecell structural foam core to the subsea industry. This enables Gurit to further expand its operations in the Asia-Pacific region, specifically Australia, where Gurit will open a new facility to support this new contract. The company will take the opportunity to relocate its current distribution facility to the new site, expected to be near Brisbane, Queensland. This agreement is projected to generate a low to mid double-digit million CHF in sales within five years.

Corecell is a market-leading, high performing structural core material based on styrene acrylonitrile resin (SAN), originally developed by Gurit in the 1980s and undergoing numerous improvements since then. It remains unmatched in the marketplace, with a long history of success in extremely high performance and demanding applications.
