Vorgeschlagener 24-MW-Windpark beginnt mit ersten Wind- und Lärmbewertungen

(WK-intern) – Der Entwickler erneuerbarer Energien Green Switch Capital, jetzt Teil der Qair Group, führt über einen Zeitraum von 12 Monaten Wind- und Lärmbewertungen mit ZX Measurement Services im geplanten Monashee-Windpark zwischen Grantshouse und Duns, Schottland, durch.

Der Standort mit vier Turbinen umfasst eine Fläche von etwa 155 ha und die kürzlich erfolgte Bereitstellung eines bodengestützten, flachen ZX 300-Wind-Lidars und der zugehörigen Lärmüberwachungsausrüstung ermöglicht die schnelle und einfache Durchführung erster Studien ohne nennenswerte Auswirkungen auf die Umgebung.

Die Windgeschwindigkeiten werden vom Boden bis zur Zielhöhe der Turbinen gemessen, ohne dass ein herkömmlicher Wettermast installiert werden muss.

Proposed 24MW wind farm begins initial wind and noise assessments

Renewable energy developer Green Switch Capital, now part of the Qair Group is conducting wind and noise assessments with ZX Measurement Services over a period of 12 months at the proposed Monashee Wind Farm located between Grantshouse and Duns, Scotland. The four-turbine site covers an area of approximately 155Ha and the recent deployment of a ground-based, low-profile, ZX 300 wind Lidar and associated noise monitoring equipment allows for first studies to be conducted quickly and easily with no significant impact on the locality. Wind speeds are assessed from ground based to the target turbine heights without the need to install a traditional meteorological mast.
