Vestas hat vom führenden Vermögensverwalter für erneuerbare Energien, Greenbacker Capital Management, einen Auftrag über 59 MW zur Stromversorgung des Moskauer Windprojekts in Maine, USA, erhalten.

(WK-intern) – Der Auftrag umfasst 14 V150-4,2 MW-Turbinen.

„Das Projekt „Moscow Wind“ wird dazu beitragen, dass Maine seinem Ziel, bis 2050 100 % des Stroms des Staates aus erneuerbaren Quellen zu beziehen, einen Schritt näher kommt.“

Der Auftrag umfasst die Lieferung, Lieferung und Inbetriebnahme der Turbinen sowie einen mehrjährigen Servicevertrag für Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000), der eine optimale Leistung der Anlage gewährleisten soll.

Die Auslieferung der Turbine beginnt im zweiten Quartal 2024, die Inbetriebnahme ist für das dritte Quartal 2024 geplant.

Vestas secures 59 MW order from Greenbacker Capital Management in the USA

Vestas has received a 59 MW order from leading renewable energy asset manager Greenbacker Capital Management to power the Moscow Wind project in Maine, USA. The order consists of 14 V150-4.2 MW turbines.

“We look forward to partnering with Greenbacker and transforming this unique site, which housed a former Air Force radar defense system, into a clean energy hub,” said Laura Beane, President of Vestas North America. “The Moscow Wind project will help bring Maine one step closer to achieving its goal of 100% of the state’s electricity coming from renewable resources by 2050.”

The order includes supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance of the asset.

Turbine delivery begins in the second quarter of 2024 with commissioning scheduled for the third quarter of 2024.
