Vestas hat von der Pattern Energy Group einen 151-MW-Windpark-Auftrag zur Stromversorgung in Alberta, Kanada, erhalten.

(WK-intern) – Dieser Auftrag umfasst 35 V150-4,2 MW-Turbinen, die im 4,3-MW-Betriebsmodus geliefert werden.

„Durch den Einsatz der bewährten V150-Technologie wird dieses Projekt dazu beitragen, Kanadas Ziel, die Treibhausgasemissionen bis 2030 um 40 bis 45 Prozent zu reduzieren.“

„Durch den Einsatz der Vestas V150, einer leisen und leistungsstarken Turbine, können wir den Platzbedarf des Lanfine Wind-Projekts reduzieren und gleichzeitig seine Leistung beibehalten“, sagte Mike Garland, CEO von Pattern Energy. „Die Aufnahme von Lanfine Wind wird unsere kanadische Präsenz weiter ausbauen, die auf insgesamt zehn Windparks in fünf Provinzen anwächst.“

Der Auftrag umfasst die Lieferung und Inbetriebnahme der Turbinen sowie einen mehrjährigen Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) Servicevertrag, der eine optimierte Leistung der Anlage sicherstellen soll. Die Turbinenlieferung beginnt im zweiten Quartal 2022, die Inbetriebnahme ist für das vierte Quartal 2022 geplant.

Vestas expands footprint in Canada with a 151 MW order from Pattern Energy

Vestas has received a 151 MW order from Pattern Energy Group LP (Pattern Energy) to power the Lanfine Wind farm in Alberta, Canada. This order consists of 35 V150-4.2 MW turbines, delivered in 4.3 MW operating mode.

“By utilising the Vestas V150, a quiet and powerful turbine, we are able to reduce the footprint of the Lanfine Wind project while maintaining its output,” said Mike Garland, CEO of Pattern Energy. “The addition of Lanfine Wind will further expand our Canadian presence, which is growing to a total of ten wind power facilities across five provinces.”

The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance of the asset. Turbine delivery begins in the second quarter of 2022 with commissioning scheduled for fourth quarter of 2022.
