Januar 2014 Werbung Gamesa, a global technology leader in wind energy, has closed* the sale of two wind farms located in Germany, with aggregate installed capacity of 18.5 MW, to HT Aiwanger, an investor group. (WK-intern) - The Ringstedt II wind farm (10 MW) is located in Landkreis-Cuxhaven (Lower Saxony) and is equipped with five G80-2.0 MW turbines. The Gross Hasslow facility (8.5 MW), meanwhile, in Ostpringnitz-Ruppin (Western Pomerania), comprises 10 G58-850 kW WTGs. Both facilities were developed and are operated by Gamesa. Installation of the turbine finished in early December, triggering the start of the intensive process of validating and certifying the new turbine. The company expects to obtain type certification during the first quarter of 2014.
