Q ENERGY arbeitet mit Tomorrow Energy zusammen, um gemeinsam ein 300-MW-Solarportfolio in den Niederlanden zu entwickeln

(WK-intern) – Q ENERGY und der niederländische Solarentwickler Tomorrow Energy haben eine Vereinbarung zur gemeinsamen Entwicklung von 21 Solarprojekten in den Niederlanden geschlossen.

Das Portfolio umfasst insgesamt rund 300 MW und ist offen für die mögliche Integration von Speicher-, Agrivoltaik- und grünen Wasserstofflösungen.

Q ENERGY gab heute bekannt, dass es mit einem 300-MW-Solarportfolio in den Markt für erneuerbare Energien in den Niederlanden einsteigt, das es gemeinsam mit dem renommierten niederländischen Solarentwickler Tomorrow Energy entwickeln wird. Beide Unternehmen haben eine Vereinbarung zur gemeinsamen Entwicklung von 21 Solarprojekten mit einer Größe zwischen 4 und 40 MW unterzeichnet. Die meisten Greenfield-Projekte verteilen sich über die Niederlande, wobei die Mehrheit im südlichen Teil des Landes angesiedelt ist. Das kürzlich eingeführte Q ENERGY ist ein grüner Energieanbieter auf dem europäischen Markt und eine direkte Tochtergesellschaft des koreanischen Spitzenunternehmens Hanwha Solutions. Zusammen mit Tomorrow Energy als Partner wird Q ENERGY die Projekte weiterentwickeln und Möglichkeiten prüfen, innovative Lösungen wie Energiespeicherung, Agrivoltaik und möglicherweise sogar grünen Wasserstoff einzubeziehen. Es wird erwartet, dass die 21 Projekte innerhalb der kommenden 3 Jahre gebaut und an das Stromnetz angeschlossen werden.

Q ENERGY erweitert sein 12-GW-Entwicklungsportfolio in Europa um 300 MW in den Niederlanden

Ähnlich wie in anderen europäischen Ländern befindet sich der niederländische Energiemarkt im Umbruch. Vor dem Hintergrund des Klimawandels, eines wachsenden Strombedarfs und natürlich der aktuellen Energiekrise in Europa muss das Land schnell einen höheren Grad an Energieunabhängigkeit auf der Grundlage erneuerbarer Energieerzeugung erreichen. Q ENERGY and the Dutch solar developer Tomorrow Energy have entered into an agreement to co-develop 21 solar projects in the Netherlands. The portfolio amounts to approximately 300 MW in total and is open for the potential integration of storage, agrivoltaic, and green hydrogen solutions.

Berlin, 20 September 2022. Q ENERGY today announced that it enters the renewable energy market of the Netherlands with a 300 MW solar portfolio in its pocket, which it will develop together with the renowned Dutch solar developer Tomorrow Energy. Both companies have signed an agreement to co-develop 21 solar projects which range between 4 and 40 MW in size. The mostly greenfield projects spread across the Netherlands with a majority located in the southern part of the country. The recently launched Q ENERGY is a green energy player on the European market and a direct affiliate of the top-tier Korean enterprise Hanwha Solutions. Together with Tomorrow Energy as a partner, Q ENERGY will develop the projects further and explore possibilities to include innovative solutions like energy storage, agrivoltaic and potentially even green hydrogen. The 21 projects are expected to be constructed and grid connected within the coming 3 years.

Q ENERGY adds 300 MW in the Netherlands to its 12 GW development portfolio in Europe

Much like in other European countries, the Dutch energy market is undergoing a transition. Against the backgrounds of climate change, a growing demand for electricity and of course the current energy crisis in Europe, the country is in need to quickly achieve a higher degree of energy independency based on renewable energy generation.
