WINDEA CTV beginnt mit dem Bau von drei hybridfähigen 30-Meter-CTVs

NEW BEDFORD, MA (26. April 2022) – WINDEA CTV LLC, ein US-amerikanischer Betreiber von Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) für Offshore-Windkraft, gab heute bekannt, dass er mit dem Bau von drei hybridfähigen 30-Meter-CTVs begonnen hat. Zwei der von Incat Crowther entworfenen CTVs werden in der St. Johns Shipyard in Palatka, FL, und einer bei Gulf Craft in Franklin, LA, gebaut. Die CTVs sollen 2023 geliefert werden und gehen sofort für GE Renewables in Betrieb. Die Schiffe werden während der Bauzeit von Vineyard Wind I zunächst von New Bedford, MA, aus operieren.

WINDEA CTV Begins Construction of three 30-meter hybrid ready CTVs

WINDEA CTV LLC, a US operator of offshore wind Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs), announced today that it has commenced construction of three 30-meter hybrid ready CTVs. Two of the Incat Crowther designed CTVs will be constructed at St. Johns Shipyard in Palatka, FL and one will be built at Gulf Craft in Franklin, LA. The CTVs are scheduled to be delivered in 2023 and will go immediately into service for GE Renewables. The vessels will first operate out of New Bedford, MA, during the Vineyard Wind I construction period.
