Vestas hat einen 240-MW-Auftrag zum Repowering des Big Sky Wind-Projekts in Illinois, USA, das sich im Besitz von Vitol Wind befindet, erhalten.

(WK-intern) – Dies ist die erste Kooperation zwischen Vestas und Vitol Wind.

Der Auftrag umfasst 104 V120-2,2 MW-Turbinen und fünf V110-2,0-MW-Turbinen im 2,2-MW-Betriebsmodus, die die aktuelle Technologie des Projekts von 109 Suzlon S88-2,1 MW-Turbinen ersetzen werden.

Vestas partners with Vitol Wind on a 240 MW repowering project in the USA

Vestas has received a 240 MW order to repower the Big Sky Wind project in Illinois, U.S., owned by Vitol Wind, marking the first cooperation between Vestas and Vitol Wind. The order consists of 104 V120-2.2 MW turbines and five V110-2.0 MW turbines in 2.2 MW operating mode, which will replace the project’s current technology of 109 Suzlon S88-2.1 MW turbines.

The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance of the asset. Turbine delivery for the orders begin in the fourth quarter of 2021 with commissioning scheduled for the second quarter of 2022.
