Vestas hat einen Festauftrag für RWEs 900-MW-Offshore-Windprojekt Nordseecluster B in Deutschland erhalten.

(WK-intern) – Diese Festauftragsankündigung bezieht sich auf die Unternehmensmitteilung 09/2024 vom 17. Mai 2024.

Der Auftrag umfasst 60 V236-15.0-MW-Windturbinen und Vestas ist für die Beschaffung, Lieferung und Inbetriebnahme der Turbinen verantwortlich.

Nach Abschluss wird Vestas die Anlage auch im Rahmen eines 5-Jahres-Servicevertrags warten, gefolgt von einem langfristigen Betriebsunterstützungsvertrag.

Der Nordseecluster wird in zwei Phasen umgesetzt, Phase A und Phase B. Die erste Phase des Projekts, der 660-MW-Nordseecluster A, wurde im Juni 2024 als Festauftrag angekündigt und besteht aus 44 V236-15.0-MW-Turbinen.

Der Projektstandort liegt rund 50 km nördlich der Insel Juist in der deutschen Nordsee. Die Installation der Windturbinen für den Nordseecluster B soll voraussichtlich im Jahr 2028 erfolgen, der kommerzielle Betrieb soll Anfang 2029 beginnen.

Vestas secures 900 MW order for the Nordseecluster B offshore wind project in Germany

Vestas has received a firm order for RWE’s 900 MW Nordseecluster B offshore wind project in Germany. This firm order announcement refers to Company Announcement 09/2024 from 17 May 2024.

The order includes 60 V236-15.0 MW wind turbines and Vestas is responsible for the supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines. Upon completion, Vestas will also service the asset under a 5-year service agreement followed by a long-term operational support agreement.

The Nordseecluster is being implemented in two phases, phase A and phase B. The first phase of the project, the 660 MW Nordseecluster A, was announced as a firm order in June 2024 and consists of 44 V236-15.0 MW turbines.

The project site is located around 50km north of the island of Juist in the German North Sea. Wind turbine installation for the Nordseecluster B is expected to take place in 2028 with commercial operation planned to start at the beginning of 2029.
