Vestas hat ein 277 MW Windportfolio in Italien verkauft.

(WK-intern) – Diese Transaktion zeigt die Fähigkeit von Vestas Development, weiterhin rentable, qualitativ hochwertige Windprojekte in Italien, einem seiner strategischen Märkte in Europa, zu liefern.

Die in diesem Portfolio enthaltenen Projekte wurden von Vestas entwickelt und sind für die Technologie von Vestas ausgelegt.

„Dieser Verkauf zeigt die Fähigkeit von Vestas, weiterhin eine hochwertige Pipeline in Italien aufzubauen und zu entwickeln, was der Schlüssel zur Beschleunigung der Energiewende und zur Erzielung lokaler Vorteile für die Gemeinden im Land ist“, sagt Senior Director Vestas Head of MED Development, Leopoldo Versace.

Die im Portfolio enthaltenen Projekte und der Kunde wurden nicht bekannt gegeben.

Vestas Development hält rund 28 GW Windkapazität in seiner Pipeline und Vestas hat 7 GW an festen Projekten aus Entwicklungsaktivitäten erhalten. Durch die Entwicklung neuer erneuerbarer Energieanlagen trägt Vestas dazu bei, die Energiewende zu beschleunigen und gleichzeitig den lokalen Gemeinden durch die Schaffung grüner Arbeitsplätze und die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung erhebliche Vorteile zu bringen.

Vestas Development sells 277 MW wind portfolio in Italy

Vestas has sold a 277 MW wind portfolio in Italy. This transaction demonstrates Vestas Development’s ability to continue delivering viable, high-quality wind projects in Italy, one of its strategic markets in Europe.

The projects included in this portfolio have been developed by Vestas and are designed for Vestas’ technology.

„This sale showcases Vestas’ ability to continue originating and developing a high-quality pipeline in Italy, which is key to accelerate the energy transition and bring local benefits to communities in the country”, says Senior Director Vestas Head of MED Development, Leopoldo Versace.

The projects included in the portfolio and the customer are undisclosed.

Vestas Development holds around 28 GW of wind capacity in its pipeline and Vestas has obtained 7 GW of firm projects from development activities. By developing new renewable energy assets, Vestas contributes to accelerate the clean energy transition while bringing significant benefits to local communities, through green job creation and economic development.
