(WK-intern) – Der 54 Megawatt (MW) starke Windpark San Severo besteht aus 12 Turbinen mit einer Leistung von jeweils 4,5 MW.

Der Windpark liegt in der Provinz Foggia in der Gemeinde San Severo und wird bis zu 55.000 italienische Haushalte mit Ökostrom versorgen.

Gemeinschaftsinvestition

RWE bot den italienischen Einwohnern die Möglichkeit, eine aktive Rolle bei der Energiewende zu übernehmen und finanziell direkt davon zu profitieren. Die Abonnenten dieser Gemeinschaftsfinanzierung hatten die Möglichkeit, zwischen 250 und 5.000 Euro mit einer Laufzeit von 24 Monaten und einer garantierten Rendite von bis zu 9 % brutto pro Jahr zu investieren. Die gesamte Gemeinschaftsinvestition von San Severo betrug 200.000 Euro.

RWE has commissioned one of its largest onshore wind farms in Italy after a year of construction. The 54 megawatt (MW) San Severo wind farm consists of 12 turbines, each with a capacity of 4.5 MW. Located in the province of Foggia in the municipality of San Severo, the wind farm will supply up to 55,000 Italian households with green electricity.

Community investment

RWE offered Italian residents the opportunity to take up an active role in the energy transition and benefit financially directly from it. Subscribers to this community funding had the opportunity to invest between €250 and €5,000 with a term of 24 months and a guaranteed return of up to 9% gross per annum. The total San Severo community investment was €200,000.
