Bergfest beim Bau der Offshore-Windparks „EnBW Hohe See“ und „Albatros“

(WK-intern) – Die EnBW hat 44 der insgesamt 87 Windkraftanlagen von „Hohe See“ und dem benachbarten „Albatros“ errichtet.

Die Installationsschiffe „Brave Tern“ und „Blue Tern“ laden die Teile für jeweils vier Windkraftanlagen im Hafen von Esbjerg in Dänemark an Bord und installieren diese auf See auf die bereits im Meeresboden verankerten Fundamenten.

Seit 2010 errichtet EnBW hochmoderne und effiziente Windparks auf See, mit denen sie die Energiewende im Land weiter vorantreibt. Voraussichtlich Ende 2019 werden die insgesamt 87 Windkraftanlagen mit 609 Megawatt installierter Leistung ans Netz gehen und so viel Energie produzieren, wie ein modernes Gaskraftwerk. Rechnerisch genug Strom, um alle Privathaushalte von München mit grüner Energie zu versorgen.

Half-way mark in construction of EnBW Hohe See and Albatros offshore wind farms

EnBW has completed 44 of the 87 wind turbines in its adjacent North Sea wind farms, Hohe See and Albatros. Installation vessels “Brave Tern” and “Blue Tern” load the components for four wind turbines at a time at the port of Esbjerg in Denmark and attach them offshore to foundations already installed in the seabed.

Since 2010, the energy company based in Karlsruhe has been constructing state-of-the-art and efficient wind farms at sea in order to push forward the Energiewende on land. The total of 87 wind turbines with 609 megawatts of installed output are due to be connected to the grid by the end of 2019 and will produce as much energy as a modern gas power plant. The green electricity generated by the wind farms will cover the aggregate requirements of all the private households in Munich.
